Two questions:
[name_f]Alice[/name_f] or [name_f]Alisa[/name_f] - [name_f]Alisa[/name_f] is more recognizable variant where I live, pronounced Uh-lees-uh
Some other middle, unusual and not overly literary, since [name_f]Alice[/name_f] is well-known literary character and people here will instantly think of [name_f]Alice[/name_f] when they hear [name_f]Alisa[/name_f].
I prefer [name_f]Alisa[/name_f] although I can imagine others prefering [name_f]Alice[/name_f] just because it’s not as popular but I do love either [name_f]Alisa[/name_f] [name_f]Delilah[/name_f]/[name_f]Alisa[/name_f] Evengeline, both are pretty. I love the name [name_f]Delilah[/name_f], I keep pushing my husband for this name and he’s having none of it! lol
I definetly don’t think of [name_f]Alice[/name_f] when I hear [name_f]Alisa[/name_f]. If anything, I think of [name_u]Lisa[/name_u]. But anyway, I prefer [name_f]Alisa[/name_f] to [name_f]Alice[/name_f]. Of your choices, I like [name_f]Alisa[/name_f] [name_f]Meadow[/name_f] the best!
I don’t like either of them, personally. And I’m conflicted about which one I like better for you and there’s a reason for that.
As a real-life [name_f]Alisa[/name_f], I’d normally just tell you to choose [name_f]Alice[/name_f] and ignore the previous posters, lol. [name_f]Alice[/name_f] just isn’t appealing to me because of the Iss sound. (Though I love the Italian pronunciation). [name_f]Alisa[/name_f] I downright absolutely despise partially because I don’t like the -Uhleese sound and mostly because my parents had the gall to name me it. After living with it as a legal name, I can tell you straight up that it is awful living with it.
However, the reason I’m conflicted is because you said that it’s actually recognisable where you live, which is one benefit I didn’t have and I actually do like the sound of [name_f]Alisa[/name_f] slightly more than [name_f]Alice[/name_f], like the previous posters.
That said, personally feelings aside, out of your combos I actually like [name_f]Alisa[/name_f] [name_f]Meadow[/name_f] or [name_f]Alisa[/name_f] [name_f]Tempest[/name_f] the most . If either of those were my middle name (particular the edgy [name_f]Tempest[/name_f]) I might actually like my name a lot more and I’d say that says something considering how much I don’t.
I prefer [name_f]Alice[/name_f], so pretty. [name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_f]Delilah[/name_f] is lovely. I think [name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_f]Meadow[/name_f] would be pretty too.
[name_f]Alisa[/name_f] looks beautiful! She would however often be confused with [name_f]Alyssa[/name_f] or [name_f]Elissa[/name_f]. I like [name_f]Alisa[/name_f] [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] and [name_f]Alisa[/name_f] [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f]. However that being said [name_f]Alice[/name_f] is also a gorgeous name. I like [name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_f]Delilah[/name_f]
I can verify that. [name_f]Alisa[/name_f] is my name and I’m always being called [name_f]Alissa[/name_f], [name_f]Elisa[/name_f], [name_f]Alyssa[/name_f], [name_f]Alicia[/name_f], (Any pronouciation of that name), even [name_f]Alexia[/name_f].
