Alice??

Hello,
do you like the name [name_f]Alice[/name_f]?

Thank You.

Yes-- [name_f]Alice[/name_f] is great!

I don’t because of strongly negative personal association–a step-family member–but I believe that if it wasn’t for this, I would love the name. It strikes as both feminine and serious, with literary and historical connections. I also like the possible nickname [name_u]Allie[/name_u]. I think [name_f]Alice[/name_f] has much of the same appeal as [name_f]Edith[/name_f], which is one of my favorite names.

I think [name_f]Alice[/name_f] is beautiful.

No…too old-ladyish for me.

It’s my daughter’s middle name- I like the literary associations.

I adore [name_f]Alice[/name_f]

I love [name_f]Alice[/name_f]! I think its very pretty and so sweet. I also love the literary associations.

I find [name_f]Alice[/name_f] a classic name but very boring. When I hear someone has named their child this I always feel underwhelmed.

Yes, [name_f]Alice[/name_f] is gorgeous!

[name_f]Alice[/name_f] is timeless, classical, and beautiful. You can’t go wrong!

I think it’s so beautiful, but overused. Like [name_f]Lily[/name_f]… I would prefer it as a middle name

I love the name [name_f]Alice[/name_f]! It’s so smart and sweet!

I never used to, and when I was pregnant the first time, we didn’t know what we were having and had already settled on a boy name. I knew I wanted the middle to be [name_f]Pearl[/name_f], and when my husband suggested [name_f]Alice[/name_f] for a girl, I laughed. “No way, I’m having a baby, not an old lady.” But then as the months went on all the names I thought I loved kind of fell away and I realized I couldn’t get [name_f]Alice[/name_f] out of my head. [name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] turned three in [name_f]April[/name_f]! Now I couldn’t picture her being named anything else. I also love that where we live (a very small town, although from my experience Alice isn’t super popular in the US yet anyway), her name is still unique enough that she won’t have to go by Alice C. all the time.
