What do you think of Alice with a French (?) pronunciation (ah-LEES)? Which vibe does this name give you?
Opinions on:
Alice Mathilda
Alice Joséphine Garance
Alice Azelma
Alice Louise Toscane
Alice Clémentine Maxine
Alice Rosalie Juliette
Alice Eponine
Alice Elisabeth Flora
Alice Hermine / Alice Hermione
Alice Héloïse Castile
Alice Frida Liselotte?
(Pick your favourite combo, please!)
Can I have this in my lists if I have a cousin named this with the pronunciation of ah-LEES (she is born French speaking Switzerland, explaining the pronunciation) or is it too weird? I am just collecting for now anyways, and I would use this name only if I ever moved out of where I live currently (the default pronunciation in my country is ah-LEE-Cheh not ah-LEES)

I think [name_f]Alice[/name_f] pronounced (Ah-Lees) is gorgeous!! You should keep it on the list.
I definitely prefer it pronounced that way but where I’m from it’s only ever pronounced as (ah-liss).
[name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_f]Joséphine[/name_f] [name_u]Garance[/name_u]
Alice (ah-lees) is sparkly and sleek, there’s something bright and buoyant about it, but refined too.
My favourites of the middles:
Alice Mathilda - classic and regal
Alice Josephine Garance - I’m guessing this is all with the French pn too? It’s so bold, powerful and regal
Alice Eponine - so zippy and sparky
Alice Hermione - elegant and earthy at the same time
Alice Frida Liselotte - so distinctive and lovely
Overall, I think Alice Eponine is my favourite.
sure, it can be on your lists since you’re not having a baby at this moment! i guess it just depends on whether you feel weird about it
im pronouncing all of these in [name_u]French[/name_u], not sure if you meant for that or just for [name_f]Alice[/name_f]?
in [name_u]French[/name_u], the combo that stands out as flowing the best to me is [name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_f]Joséphine[/name_f] [name_u]Garance[/name_u]. I like the way the syllables vary, and the repeated S sounds give it a soft, lyrical vibe, which is something I love about how [name_u]French[/name_u] sounds
I do like the repeated A’s in [name_f]Alice[/name_f] Azelma as well!
my least favorite is [name_f]Alice[/name_f] Clémentine [name_f]Maxine[/name_f], just because the middle names rhyme
[name_f]Alice[/name_f] with the [name_u]French[/name_u] pronunciation is quite lovely! I’m usually not a fan of the name otherwise.
[name_f]My[/name_f] favourite combo is [name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_f]Héloïse[/name_f] Castile!
[name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_f]Hermione[/name_f] is my second favourite.
