Alien Main Character

Following up on my general alien names thread, I need a name for the main character. The aliens themselves are called Etties by humans, a play on/diminutive of ET. I don’t know yet what they call themselves. They are quite human-like; taller, slimmer, very angular with thin, heart-shaped faces. Skin is tougher, almost scaled in texture, and tone ranges from blue to green; hair color from blue to red, eye color green to gold. Their eyes are larger and have no whites, but they do have pupils. They live about 200-300 years, are completely vegetarian, and generally nonviolent. A very serious, somber bunch. Societally there hasn’t been a lot of integration with humans; they’ve been present on [name]Earth[/name] for a hundred years or so.

This particular alien is male, and about 30 or 40 years old (so he’s young). He’s on the shorter side for his kind, but still towers over most humans at about 6’9". His skin is a faded blue color, sort of like medium-wash-denim, with curly, dark blue hair and bright green eyes. He’s inquisitive and somewhat excitable, good at dealing with the emotional humans. Friendly and just a bit unpredictable.

Names? Anyone? Preferably made up, but obscure ‘human’ names will do just fine.

how about you name the alien Eriam? Oh, and, do you have a main girl character? If so. do you have a name? I’m not sure, but if you do, I’d like to know it, and, if not, name her something like [name]Krystal[/name], nn [name]Krys[/name]/[name]Krissy[/name]. Oh, and, I think she should be around the 20-30 range, and possibly like the main character, and the main character likes her.

Eriam is okay, kinda hard to say though with all those vowels…

No main girl; it’s kind of an epic journey story. Adventure stuff.

okay, so, maybe something like Diran for the main guy, and I think you should have a girl that can be in the story, and the love intrest for the main guy, and her name can be [name]Krystal[/name], nn [name]Krys[/name]/[name]Krissy[/name]. [name]How[/name] does that sound to you, @celianne?

I can’t really think of a place to fit a girl in.

Diran is much closer to what I’m looking for, though. I tend to go for the more crisp sounding names, with hard consonants, haha.

@celianne: maybe you can have a girl in the beginning named [name]Krystal[/name] nn [name]Krys[/name]/[name]Krissy[/name]. [name]How[/name] does that sound to you?

Terrible, to be quite honest.
