How do you pronounce Alina? How would you spell it if it were pronounced uh-LEE-nuh?

When I first saw the name I wanted to say it a-Lee-na and I would probably spell it how you have, [name_f]Alina[/name_f]!

All the Alina’s I’ve known have spelled and pronounced it the way you do, so that’s how I spell/pronounce it.

I also pronounce it uh-LEE-nuh, so I think you’re good leaving it as it is. It’s such a beautiful name!

I know one and she says it as “Al-ee-nuh” (like the first syllable of Alexandra).

I’d probably read is as Uh-lean-uh with my US accent.

I say ah-LEE-nah but I think would sound the same to you as uh-LEE-nuh. So in that case I would spell uh-LEE-nuh as [name_f]Alina[/name_f].

In my country it’s uh-LEE-nah but in [name_f]English[/name_f] (American Accent) I would go with uh-LIE-nah

I’d pronouce it uh-leen-uh :slight_smile: I’d stick with the [name_f]Alina[/name_f] spelling but [name_f]Aleena[/name_f] would avoid any confusion
