DH has a massive crush on [name_f]Mavis[/name_f] and I think it’s a potential name for a next baby girl. Would love to know what you guys think of it!
I agree on the nicknames (one could even use [name_u]Izzy[/name_u] in a stretch) but am not fond of [name_f]Mavis[/name_f] itself
It mostly just reminds me of [name_f]Mavis[/name_f] [name_m]Beacon[/name_m], which… isn’t really the imagery I would want.
I think it’s a wonderful name! It combines the beauty of both [name_f]Mable[/name_f] and [name_f]Avis[/name_f] and you can have [name_f]Mave[/name_f] as a nickname.
I can’t shake that association either.
