So, I’ve realized that all of my favorite girls names end in -a or -ia or -ea… making it impossible for me to pair them together for fm/mn/smn combos. I’d love to hear some interesting suggestions… My name choices are pretty out there, nothing trendy or too popular. Mostly inspired by Ancient Greek/[name_m]Roman[/name_m] history, English Romantic poetry, science fiction ([name_f]Star[/name_f] Trek, [name_u]Dune[/name_u], A Song of Ice & [name_m]Fire[/name_m] / Game of Thrones, and [name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_m]Potter[/name_m] are big in our house). Also love nature names, but haven’t found many that match my family stylistically. Current favorites and musings, lists, and the names of my 2 kids for style reference are in my signature. 1 or 2 middles is fine… Thanks!! Looking forward to seeing your ideas.
I think your favorite names sound different enough that having your girls all end in -a won’t necessarily sound super matchy. Names with different sounds and syllables can sound very separate even if they end in A (like [name_f]Esmeralda[/name_f] and [name_f]Junia[/name_f], or [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] and [name_u]Dara[/name_u]).
Otherwise, I’d look for names from other mythologies, like Welsh and Norse figures.
[name_f]Guinevere[/name_f]

[name_u]Dagny[/name_u]
[name_f]Rhiannon[/name_f]
[name_f]Isolde[/name_f]
[name_f]Evanthe[/name_f]
There is a lot of variety in your names. [name_f]Phaedra[/name_f] [name_f]Solstice[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] would be a combo I’d pick out. [name_f]Amadea[/name_f] is such pretty name. Try for more “ine” or “ee” endings.

[name_f]Aphrodite[/name_f] [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f]
I don’t have any further suggestions to add, but I just want to say your children’s names are absolutely stunning! [name_f]May[/name_f] I ask, do they always go by their full names? Have you had good reactions to their names?
([name_f]Hope[/name_f] this isn’t creepy, I’m just blown away by how gorgeous and adventurous they are together!)
Wow, I totally missed that there had been more posts on this. Sorry for not responding at all, thank you everyone for the lovely suggestions!!
@bemsy_1 Not creepy at all! Thank you! I love their names, too. Names are magical to me, it’s such a process to pin down the right ones… They do always go by their full names. My daughter has a couple friends who sometimes call her “Utopes” or “Topia” but it’s mostly Utopia, and [name_m]Tiberius[/name_m] is [name_m]Tiberius[/name_m], all the time. LOL. If someone tries to call him [name_m]Ty[/name_m], he will correct them (he is 7 btw). When he was really little he couldn’t say her name all the way, so he called her “Topa.” They have both known their middle names since they were pretty little, too, but I pretty much only call them by their first (but love writing out the first and middle names on things I’m going to keep, like artwork, etc.)
Reactions, are mostly positive. LOL. I say mostly because there are always a few that are not… Surprisingly, [name_m]Tiberius[/name_m] gets mispronounced a LOT, which really confuses me. Then again, I have a strong background in Ancient [name_m]Roman[/name_m] history. I got yelled at at my baby shower by a friend of my grandmother’s when I announced Utopia as the first name - she was convinced my daughter would hate it (she loves it, she is almost 12 now) and told me it was a terrible name to bestow. Neither one of them have endured any sort of teasing in regards to their names. We live in a fairly small town, but apparently of adventurous namers because we have friends [name_f]Luna[/name_f], [name_f]Celeste[/name_f], [name_f]Trinity[/name_f], Wraith, [name_m]Brodie[/name_m], [name_m]Haidon[/name_m], Tyme, [name_m]Phineas[/name_m]…
I think the hardest part is trying to come up with names for future siblings. Holy wow, it was hard enough to settle on [name_m]Tiberius[/name_m] [name_m]Apollo[/name_m]… So now following up both names is proving to be quite difficult!! My current favorites are [name_f]Veridian[/name_f] [name_f]Elora[/name_f] [name_f]Luna[/name_f] for a girl and [name_m]Ulysses[/name_m] … for a boy (it’s been so many middles, right now I like Caladan but there were at least 7 before that).
