I am not TTC or expecting, but I have a list going and my boy list is out of control! I don’t know if the styles mesh or what kind of middle name options I have! The following are names I would use as first names. Some inspired middle name choices would be appreciated (I’m pretty much going off [name]Alexander[/name], [name]Thomas[/name], [name]John[/name], and [name]James[/name] or other names on the list, so that you know how abysmal my boy-naming is)

I honestly think most of your list goes pretty well together, and I definitely don’t think your list is all over the place! I really like [name]Asher[/name], [name]Atticus[/name], [name]Ciaran[/name], [name]Gabriel[/name], [name]Oliver[/name], and [name]Rowan[/name], and I think those all work pretty well together, too. I think [name]Asher[/name] [name]Atticus[/name] (I actually considered [name]Asher[/name] [name]Atticus[/name] [name]George[/name]/[name]Asher[/name] [name]Atticus[/name] [name]Patrick[/name], haha), [name]Ciaran[/name] [name]Gabriel[/name]/[name]Gabriel[/name] [name]Ciaran[/name], [name]Rowan[/name] [name]William[/name], and [name]Oliver[/name] [name]Bradley[/name] are cute together. :slight_smile:

I’m not sure how to give advice, haha, since I know you love [name]Rowan[/name] and [name]Ciaran[/name] so much and I do think they pair up really well. I think [name]George[/name] works really well as a MN for most of your options, too, like [name]Oliver[/name] [name]George[/name], [name]Asher[/name] [name]George[/name], [name]Atticus[/name] [name]George[/name], etc. [name]George[/name] makes a great mn, in general, I think–I’ve never been too fond of it as a FN.

[name]Rowan[/name] - I like this one a lot, especially with [name]Ciaran[/name]/[name]Kieran[/name], but just to warn you I have met a lot more girls with this name than boys. I am all for it on a boy though!

Thank you guys for the help! I guess my list is not as fractured as I once thought. I love a lot of the middle name suggestions. I was just getting so frustrated because I felt like I had to use a bunch of the other names on the list to make combinations and the names all felt like cliche, overused names.

I also don’t think I’m willing to give up the Gaelic spelling of [name]Ciaran[/name] just yet. I’d sooner use [name]Rowan[/name], [name]Atticus[/name], [name]William[/name], and Finnick, but I like [name]Ciaran[/name] quite a bit still and I guess I’m willing to correct people for the rest of my possible son’s life, haha! (No, no, it’s not see-ar-an)

What do you think about [name]Tobin[/name]? It doesn’t go with [name]Rowan[/name], but [name]Tobias[/name] made me think of [name]Tobin[/name] and I think it could be cute! Also, my maiden name (if I were to get married) would be [name]Foster[/name], do you think it goes with any of the names on my list?

I think that using [name]William[/name] as a middle name would be perfect. My son’s name is [name]Theodore[/name] [name]Henry[/name] so it’s interesting that you love [name]Henry[/name] [name]Theodore[/name]!
