Okay so… this may sound funny but I have always kind of liked names like [name]Bruce[/name] [name]Wayne[/name], [name]Clark[/name] [name]Kent[/name], [name]Lex[/name] [name]Luther[/name]… Comic names! Hey, they are memorable and evoke a sense of power and in some of them even a sexy edge. I kind of want that for my son! I want him to be memorable and have his name evoke a sense of masculinity. Our last name sounds just like [name]Barren[/name] So…
[name]Brock[/name] [name]Barren[/name] (Too macho or just right? Memorable?)
[name]Brett[/name] [name]Barren[/name] (Memorable?)
^^ What do you think of the alliteration?
[name]How[/name] about these other simular names?
[name]Pierce[/name] [name]Barren[/name]
[name]Clark[/name] [name]Barren[/name] (yeah stealing right from superman with this one. :p)
[name]Todd[/name] [name]Barren[/name]
[name]Dean[/name] [name]Barren[/name]
[name]Clay[/name] [name]Barren[/name]
[name]Trace[/name] [name]Barren[/name]
[name]Trent[/name] [name]Barren[/name]
[name]Tripp[/name] [name]Barren[/name]
[name]Troy[/name] [name]Barren[/name]
^ Any of these memorable? [name]Do[/name] you like any of them? Any scream sissy? Any scream cowboy/superhero?
[name]Brock[/name] [name]Barren[/name] (Too macho or just right? Memorable?) - too macho for my taste.
[name]Brett[/name] [name]Barren[/name] (Memorable?) - I like it fine. I think the alliteration here is memorable/nice.
^^ What do you think of the alliteration?
[name]How[/name] about these other simular names?
[name]Pierce[/name] [name]Barren[/name] - I’m not wild about [name]Pierce[/name], but there’s nothing wrong with this combo.
[name]Clark[/name] [name]Barren[/name] (yeah stealing right from superman with this one. ) - I like this.
[name]Todd[/name] [name]Barren[/name] - this is fine and OK. [name]Todd[/name] is nice but feels mildly dated to me.
[name]Dean[/name] [name]Barren[/name] - I like this among the least since they both end in -n, but I still couldn’t call it bad.
[name]Clay[/name] [name]Barren[/name] - it’s OK by sound. You know, there’s a little too much earth in this name, though. I might avoid this?
[name]Trace[/name] [name]Barren[/name] - makes me think too much of [name]Tracy[/name].
[name]Trent[/name] [name]Barren[/name] - this is fine.
[name]Tripp[/name] [name]Barren[/name] - this is too silly.
[name]Troy[/name] [name]Barren[/name] - fine but also a little dated / tired.
[name]Brett[/name] and [name]Clark[/name] are my favorites.
I like [name]Brock[/name], [name]Brett[/name] and [name]Todd[/name]. They all seem memorable (in a good way) to me. I totally understand the sexiness in comic book names. I don’t have the slightess clue as to why, but I love Gambit haha and [name]Lex[/name] [name]Luther[/name]…
I like [name]Pierce[/name] and [name]Todd[/name]. [name]Todd[/name] is handsome and [name]Pierce[/name] kind of has the superhero feel. I like [name]Lex[/name] [name]Barren[/name]. It’s really cool
I don’t like the 2 names you used for alliteration.
I love alliteration! I like how [name]Brock[/name] [name]Barren[/name] sounds. Did you mean to put [name]Baron[/name] like a duke or barren like infertile/desert wasteland?
I am a huge fan of alliteration. I definitely agree with you that it makes a name more memorable. [name]Brett[/name] [name]Barren[/name] is my favorite from your list. [name]Brett[/name] is quite handsome.
I really like alliteration as well. I like [name]Brett[/name] the most, as [name]Brock[/name] sounds like it’s trying too hard to be tough, also it kind of makes me think of people imitating chicken sounds: “bock-bock”. Haha, I know that is likely not what most people think, so disregard it if you love that name!
The other name of yours that I think sounds fantastic with your last name is [name]Clark[/name]. Its just so solid and honest sounding.
Personally, I’m not huge on alliteration, and I have to agree with pp about the [name]Brock[/name]-trying too hard-chicken noises thing, sorry. [name]Love[/name] [name]Clark[/name] though
I like [name]Pierce[/name] and [name]Clark[/name] the best. What about [name]Parker[/name] [name]Barren[/name], catchy isn’t it? Or [name]Peter[/name] [name]Barren[/name]. A first name starting with P for a last name with B is close to being alliterative, kind of like the C in [name]Clark[/name] and K in [name]Kent[/name] of Superman’s name. I would make sure the name is not longer than a total of 4 syllables for first and last name, since that’s how many comic book names are so memorable and catchy. I can’t remember where I read that but it might have been on a nameberry blog. [name]How[/name] about [name]Rhett[/name] [name]Barren[/name]. Too close to [name]Red[/name] [name]Barron[/name] the pizza brand?
