Hey, berries! I just came across the name Allucio, but I can’t find a consensus on how the name is pronounced. Anyone know? TIA!

My first thought was uh-loo-SHEE-oh, but ah-loo-SEE-oh would probably be more likely.

From the USA, I second the latter pronunciation although I could see some saying ah-loo-kee-oh

I could see ah-loo-see-oh, ah-loo-show, & ah-loo-chee-oh all being valid pronunciations for this name, [name_f][/name_f] much like [name_f]Lucia[/name_f].

[name_f]My[/name_f] first thought was ah-LOO-see-oh but then it occurred to me that it’s probably Spanish, in which case I would say ah-YOO-see-oh. [name_f][/name_f] Although Allucio being Italian also makes sense, and if that were the case, ah-loo-chee-oh also makes a lot of sense.
