I think a slightly longer form of [name]Mary[/name] sounds best with [name]Rose[/name]: [name]Marian[/name] [name]Rose[/name] Palomino
And 2 syllables for [name]Theresa[/name]: [name]Mary[/name] / [name]Maris[/name] / [name]Maren[/name] [name]Theresa[/name].
For [name]Therese[/name], 2 syllables, what sounds best depends on whether or not you’re pronouncing it the French way, tuh-RESS, or the English way, Teh-[name]REESE[/name]. Regardless, a three syllable name:
[name]Marian[/name] [name]Therese[/name] Palomino
[name]Marissa[/name] [name]Therese[/name] Palomino
[name]Maria[/name] [name]Therese[/name] Palomino
I like [name]Mary[/name] [name]Rose[/name] best. Maryn is nice too but I think it’s a little close to [name]Kieran[/name].
The County in [name]California[/name] [name]Marin[/name] is pronounced Muh-[name]RIN[/name]. I would say Maryn like [name]Mare[/name]-inn. But you could always just correct people like me. I like Maryn better than [name]Mary[/name] and I think Maryn [name]Rose[/name] better than [name]Therese[/name] because both MAryn and [name]Therese[/name] have their emphasis on the second syllable and I really have to concentrate to get it out.
Thank you for the feedback! I do agree about the flow and the number of syllables, as well as Maryn being close in sound to [name]Kieran[/name]- thank you for the suggestions. Still considering…
My name is [name]Mary[/name]. I love the uniqueness of this timeless name. IM [name]Mary[/name] allll the way. good luck!
Oh- that is so nice to hear! [name]Glad[/name] you love [name]Mary[/name]! My name is [name]Marianne[/name] and growing up I had always thought [name]Mary[/name] was not unique, but now I hardly ever hear it. I have come to really appreciate it. Thanks for your feedback!
I like [name]Mary[/name]. Beautiful, classic, timeless name that sounds so much prettier than any of the names in the top 10, [name]IMO[/name]. It used to be plain, but now because it has fallen out of the top 100, it is great.
Definitely [name]Mary[/name] [name]Rose[/name]. I dislike your trendy spelling of Maryn. The random “y” isn’t pretty at all. It’s either [name]Maren[/name] or [name]Marin[/name] for me.
[name]Mary[/name] for sure!
And in case you haven’t considered these variations: [name]Maura[/name], [name]Maire[/name]/[name]Myra[/name], [name]Mariam[/name]/[name]Miriam[/name]/[name]Myriam[/name], [name]Muriel[/name]/[name]Meryl[/name]/[name]Mariel[/name].
Flow wise, I like [name]Muriel[/name] [name]Rose[/name].
Anytime you have to provide pronunciation with the name I would not use it. If we are having issues pronouncing then surely your daughter will as well. Therefore, I voted for [name]Mary[/name]. I do think [name]Therese[/name] would be cute as well…
