I vote [name_u]Jameson[/name_u]. Very handsome!

Sounds like [name_u]Jameson[/name_u] is the way to go. I can’t imagine why the ‘[name_u]James[/name_u]’ in [name_u]Jameson[/name_u] is a drawback. I can’t see disliking [name_u]James[/name_u] yet loving [name_u]Jameson[/name_u]. In fact, your son may choose to go by [name_u]James[/name_u] in the future, which you should consider. [name_u]Jem[/name_u] is cute for a little boy, but probably will not stick outside the family as he gets older.

Anyway, I also like [name_m]Liam[/name_m], [name_m]Callen[/name_m], and [name_m]Oliver[/name_m], but get why you’ve ruled each of them out. Have you considered any other less trendy-seeming C names, like [name_m]Conall[/name_m], [name_m]Conrad[/name_m], [name_m]Calvin[/name_m], [name_m]Callum[/name_m]?

I love either but I love the combo [name_u]Noah[/name_u] [name_u]Jameson[/name_u]. That way you can have both names.

I like [name_u]Noah[/name_u] better simply because I’m not a fan of [name_u]James[/name_u], which is very present in [name_u]Jameson[/name_u].

Show him pictures on grown-up Noahs maybe?

Thanks everyone! [name_u]Noah[/name_u] [name_u]Jameson[/name_u] is handsome, but we already have middles picked out to honor family members. It would probably be [name_u]Jameson[/name_u] [name_u]Michael[/name_u] or [name_u]Noah[/name_u] [name_m]John[/name_m].

Honestly I am only mildly aware of the ‘[name_u]James[/name_u]’ in [name_u]Jameson[/name_u]. It’s not pronounced ‘[name_u]James[/name_u]-un’ or anything. It is [name_u]JAY[/name_u]-miss-in. So I am really only aware of it when I spell it out or see it on paper. We just don’t like [name_u]James[/name_u] because to us it is a boring name. Really classic, and I think we both know at least a dozen [name_u]James[/name_u]'s. [name_u]Jameson[/name_u] is very different for us than [name_u]James[/name_u]. It is more modern and not so dated I think. That’s just my opinion

That being said I would [name_f]LOVE[/name_f] for hubby to go for [name_u]Noah[/name_u] [name_m]John[/name_m]. [name_m]Just[/name_m] need to figure out how to get it to click for my sweetheart!

I would prefer to see [name_u]James[/name_u], but that is out. I don’t like “son” names, so I would vote for [name_u]Noah[/name_u]!

I would’ve never thought about pronouncing [name_u]Jameson[/name_u] as a three syllable name. It’s a totally different name now.

Really? Too funny! Maybe it is a difference in where we live that contributes to it being said differently? Here it is most definitley pronounced as three syllable [name_u]JAY[/name_u]-miss-in.

Hubby is still so torn- not sure this boy will ever have a name! He has never really loved [name_u]Noah[/name_u], so i think he is sort of hesitant about it now that he is liking it. Maybe he just needs some time to warm up! Meanwhile I’m wracking my brain for other options. This weekend we came up with [name_m]Eliseo[/name_m]. We both really liked it! And I loved that even though it was Latin, it still couldn’t really be butchered by American speakers! And I’d love to call him [name_u]Ellis[/name_u]. Unfortunately the family hated it and ruined it for us! Bummer. Or well! Wish hubby would go for [name_u]Ellis[/name_u] or [name_u]Ellison[/name_u] but it is a firm no for those!!

I love [name_u]Noah[/name_u], I associate it with [name_u]Noah[/name_u] of the arc and [name_u]Noah[/name_u] from the movie The Notebook, both who are older so I don’t see it as a baby name only.

I did love [name_m]Oliver[/name_m]- if my daughter had been a boy she would have been named [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] [name_m]William[/name_m]. But I think you just spoiled it forever with the liver comment :(!

I vote for [name_m]Liam[/name_m].
