Alora vs. Athena

My husband and I are each down to our favorites, but can only pick one. I prefer Alora, he prefers Athena, and we are both open to either of them but can’t decide. Any preferences between the two? Things we might consider that might make one more or less appealing? One sibling named Ariella (called Arie most of the time).

Alora!!! I do prefer the spelling Elorah or [name_f]Elora[/name_f]. But out of [name_f]Alora[/name_f] or [name_f]Athena[/name_f], i would go for [name_f]Alora[/name_f]. I struggle to say [name_f]Athena[/name_f]

Not to complicate things, but would you consider a melding of the two? Because Alena/Alina (a-LEE-na) would be a great option if so!

[name_f]Ariella[/name_f] and [name_f]Alora[/name_f] is slightly too tongue twistery for me, since they contain essentially the same sounds. [name_f]Ariella[/name_f] and [name_f]Athena[/name_f] is distinct but cohesive!

Bonus: [name_f]Athena[/name_f] is my favorite girl name ever!

[name_f]Athena[/name_f] I do like [name_f]Alora[/name_f], but [name_f]Alora[/name_f] and [name_f]Ariella[/name_f] look a bit similar, which helped me make a decision between two lovely names

In general I love both of these names a lot, but with having a sibling named [name_f]Ariella[/name_f], I think [name_f]Alora[/name_f] is too close. They have basically all the same sounds.
