Last week all of you helped me narrow down a semi long list of name possibilities for our first baby. Now that we have a short list I would love your opinions again! these are first names with middle name options as we need to have [name_f]Anne[/name_f] somewhere in her name to honor family.
Our last name is something like H—man
[name_f]Anneliese[/name_f] [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] or [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f]???*
[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] [name_f]Anne[/name_f]
[name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f]
(Suggestions for a middle welcome here. I like tree or plant names or something outdoorsy or having to do with fall/[name_f]September[/name_f] when I’m due)
Any suggestions and opinions are most welcome! Let’s choose a name for my baby girl!
I like [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f] best out of those. [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] [name_f]Anne[/name_f] would be gorgeous, and a cute [name_f]Anne[/name_f] of green gables reference as well
I like [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f] the best. It’s very sweet and rhythmic to me. [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] [name_f]Anne[/name_f] doesn’t have a very smooth flow to it. [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] is okay, but I like the reverse much more. [name_f]Annaliese[/name_f] [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] is alright.
[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] [name_f]Anne[/name_f] is my favorite. Really loving the name [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] lately. I don’t think it flows as nicely as [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] tho, but I think it’s okay if names don’t necessarily flow.
Although I’m not usually a fan of [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f], I think [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f] [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] is adorable. It flows well and is classy. That would be my pick.
My favorite is [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] [name_f]Anne[/name_f]. [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f] is very pretty too but I prefer the nickname options that go with [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] and with a long name, people will always shorten it so it’s important to make sure you like a nickname option and introduce it to the family before they create their own version. With [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f] you could go with [name_f]Anne[/name_f] or [name_f]Lise[/name_f] as a nn. For [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] you could do [name_f]Gigi[/name_f] or [name_f]Vivi[/name_f] which I think are so girly and fun. Still, they are both very pretty so you really can’t go wrong.
[name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f] is my favorite by far! If you want to use [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f], then maybe [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f]? I don’t know if that would work or not for you, it seems a bit choppy.
