I have a story (that won’t be a book most likely) but I may compile it into a short story in the future IF it has a moderate success (in its “beta testing” mode as I call it) and if I can actually wring out enough ideas and such into it.
But I digress. So what I need help with is the main protagonist/character & the deuteragonist. I love this idea that I have for this story so much. The narrative is so wholesome. But Neoma is the main character and Aurora/Dawn is the deuteragonist.
So currently in the story, there is a prophecy that says that the first daughter of the King and Queen will oversee all things that have to do with The Moon and anything having to do with night or darkness. She represents The Moon and all-things night & dark (basically like a Goddess). Then the second daughter will oversee all things that have to do with The Sun and anything that has to do with day or lightness. She represents The Sun & all-things having to do with light & day (basically a like Goddess).
My problem now is…. I don’t know if I want to keep Aurora/Dawn & Neoma as sisters OR make them soul-bounds, with the fact that it is written in the Prophecy, that they will marry one day and all things that come with that. Because, to me, having them be soul-bounds with an eventual marriage together, helps to add to the storyline vs them being only just siblings. I mean how many stories do you know that have two “Goddesses” (lol) in a relationship with each other? So I need my Writers, Namers, etc to help me with this! (Also whether they’re sisters or soul-bounds, they are both going to be Moth Hybrids!)
- keep them as sisters
- Make them soul-bounds
Thank you for the help! (Also leave suggestions for other names affiliated with the Sun other than Aurora/Dawn. I would like something more unique like Neoma cuz I’m not so sold on Aurora/Dawn).
