Hi all! My apologies for the frequent posts, I’m just having fun! I absolutely love the name Sunday because it brings me so much joy. My one hesitation with it is that it doesn’t fit with many of my other favorite girls’ names. While I love a good mismatched set, that does bother me a little bit.
Do you think it’s time to remove Sunday from my list? If so, do you have any suggestions for names that are similar in style but go with my other top favorites a little better than Sunday does? I even if they’re not similar in style to Sunday, can you share some names that bring you joy? I know I’m overthinking this, but recently I’ve been concerned that if I have a Sunday and her siblings’ names are more along the lines of classic spunk, she may feel out of place with a name that is a completely different style than theirs.
To me, a name like Sunday is special and stands out in a positive way. No matter what my future children’s names are, my hope is to teach them to love them and be proud of them.
I will list some names for each gender below that bring me joy like Sunday does. Some of them are gender-neutral. I will put those names on the list corresponding to the gender that I would likely use the name for.

I think ‘brings joy’ is a great theme to connect a sibling set – I wouldn’t count out Sunday just yet! I’d rather have a name loved by my parents than one chosen exclusively because it fit with my siblings. People are referred to as a sibling group for such a short time anyway. I can’t name the siblings of very few acquaintances (and I’m a name person, so I’m more interested than most!)
Sylvie and Sadie are names with similar sounds that might be a bit more mainstream. Looking at the rest of your list, I wouldn’t be surprised to see a Sunday with siblings named Ivy, Sutton, Scout, Frankie, Daphne, Lyla, Esme, Shepard, Brooks, or August. Really all of them work, though!
@VEL Thank you so much! This is very helpful and reassuring. I do love the theme of names that bring joy! And I would also prefer to have a name that brings my parents joy than to fit with siblings. Personally, I think I got lucky and ended up with both.
If it brings you joy, keep it on the list! You never know, you might find another name that makes Sunday feel perfectly cohesive. No point getting rid of something you love since you’re just having fun atm!

You better not take [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] off your list! You love it too much! Take it from someone who’s done it, you’ll regret going the safer route instead of using the name you love. [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] goes well with a lot of your other names, too. I definitely don’t think you should let it go.

I constantly question myself with [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] specifically because I know how much I love it now, and that my love for it is unlikely to change, but when I’m ready to start naming actual humans, will I be brave enough to use it? I hope I am in a few years, and that no one talks me out of it, but it’s hard to know! I really love how [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] looks and sounds with so many of the others. [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] sounds so special to you, I would definitely not count her out! If you do, I would definitely keep her around as a middle name at least. She’s a little too free-spirited for me up front but I am quite fond of her myself. I think something like [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] or [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] is super lovely!
Then again, take this with a grain of salt - I put much less stock in cohesive sibsets than most berries… my favorites are all a bit eclectic but I would totally use them together… they are United by love

Usually I have concrete reasons why I like names, especially if I plan to use them to honor important people in my life.
