I [name_f]ADORE[/name_f] the name [name_f]Lilith[/name_f]… But due to its meaning and symbolism it’s developed over the years, I refuse to use it, no matter what people say, I could never, and will never use it.
I like [name_f]Lily[/name_f], not too fond of [name_f]Lilian[/name_f] and its variants…
It doesn’t even have to be a derivative of [name_f]Lily[/name_f] or [name_f]Lilith[/name_f]- [name_m]Just[/name_m] names you feel may match the style.
Here are a few more random female names I like, for context:
[name_f]Lily[/name_f] is sweet, but all [name_f]Lily[/name_f] names are kind of over done. I guess mainly [name_f]Lily[/name_f] & [name_f]Lillian[/name_f]. I like [name_f]Lilia[/name_f] & [name_f]Liliana[/name_f] a lot. Or if you want to go really fancy, maybe Callalililie!
I love [name_f]Dahlia[/name_f] from your list. [name_f]Anais[/name_f] is also pretty neat. [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] pretty as well.
I feel like these have a similar style to [name_f]Lilith[/name_f]…
[name_u]Artemis[/name_u]
[name_f]Izora[/name_f]
[name_f]Morgana[/name_f]
[name_f]Xanthe[/name_f]
[name_u]Calypso[/name_u]
Brynja
[name_f]Minerva[/name_f]
Ailith
[name_f]Fairuza[/name_f]
[name_f]Juno[/name_f]
[name_f]Odessa[/name_f]
[name_f]Ksenia[/name_f]
[name_f]Cressida[/name_f]
[name_f]Ravenna[/name_f]
[name_f]Eartha[/name_f]
[name_f]Titania[/name_f]
[name_f]Luneth[/name_f]
[name_f]Nephele[/name_f]
[name_f]Morwenna[/name_f]
Have you considered [name_f]Lilibet[/name_f]? It feels the closest to [name_f]Lilith[/name_f], for me, without all that negative imagery. I, too, see the appeal in [name_f]Lilith[/name_f], but after reading books centered around Israelite life during Old Testament times, the meaning behind [name_f]Lilith[/name_f] just puts me off too much. I love [name_f]Lilibet[/name_f], though, and it feels quite similar to [name_f]Lilith[/name_f], but a little bit more happy and sweet.
If not [name_f]Lilibet[/name_f], what about:
[name_f]Freya[/name_f]
[name_f]Lilibeth[/name_f]
[name_f]Annabeth[/name_f]
[name_f]Oriana[/name_f]
[name_f]Soraya[/name_f]
[name_f]Eliora[/name_f]/[name_f]Liora[/name_f]
[name_f]Nechama[/name_f]
[name_f]Odelia[/name_f]
[name_f]Galilea[/name_f]
[name_f]Tirzah[/name_f] (I think this would be a great alternative, theoretically? A lot of people think of [name_f]Lilith[/name_f] to be a great feminist role model (I don’t see it?), but I think [name_f]Tirzah[/name_f] is–her father died without any sons, and she and her 4 sisters petitioned [name_m]Moses[/name_m] and the Israelite rulers to allow her and her sisters to inherit their father’s land. [name_m]Moses[/name_m] took the request to God, and God told [name_m]Moses[/name_m] to allow it, and even created a new law that if a father died without a son, his land was to be divided equally (if I remember right) between his daughters. There’s also [name_f]Tirzah[/name_f] from [name_m]Ben[/name_m] Hur, an equally lovely story!)
[name_f]Xanthe[/name_f]
[name_f]Judith[/name_f]
[name_f]Scarlett[/name_f]
[name_f]Noemi[/name_f]
[name_f]Tatiana[/name_f]
[name_f]Christiana[/name_f]/[name_f]Tiana[/name_f]
(I really don’t know what style to put [name_f]Lilith[/name_f] into, so I just took a stab in the dark, and went for some “T” and “th” heavy names! Hopefully some of them were appealing?)
