So tough!!! I voted [name]Althea[/name]… It’s got more strength as a name, I love it’s meaning and it’s mythological connection. I always thought you could use ‘teddy’ as a pet name for [name]Althea[/name] but I agree it doesn’t need a nn!
[name]Althea[/name] [name]Wendy[/name] would probably be my choice though [name]Althea[/name] works with [name]Mae[/name] too… i dont like it with [name]Kathleen[/name] due to repetition of sounds. [name]Althea[/name] [name]Katherine[/name] or [name]Althea[/name] [name]Kate[/name] could work though and still honour [name]Kathleen[/name]… I think [name]Ali[/name]-[name]Kat[/name] is an fun pet name!
I love both, but voted for [name]Althea[/name]. I think it works better with your middle names choices.
I never know how to say [name]Althea[/name]. Is it All-thee-uh, All-tay-uh,
or All-tee-uh? I voted of [name]Emmeline[/name]. [name]Emmy[/name]/[name]Emmie[/name] is a beautiful and adorable nn.
[name]Althea[/name] is such a strong, distinguished name with a fabulous namesake. [name]Althea[/name] seems strong, brave, and wise whereas [name]Emmeline[/name] seems, well, flimsy.
I love both, but I voted for [name]Althea[/name]. Your middle names, unfortunately, don’t work well with [name]Emmeline[/name].

[name]Althea[/name] [name]Mae[/name] is really perfect! For me [name]Althea[/name] easily beats out [name]Emmeline[/name] cause I know so many girls called [name]Emma[/name], [name]Emmie[/name], [name]Emily[/name], ect and [name]Althea[/name] is so much more unique & special seeming to me!
Same. Too bad because I do love [name]Emmeline[/name], but [name]Althea[/name] is more unique than your nicknames for [name]Emmeline[/name] anyway.
I voted for [name]Althea[/name]. [name]Althea[/name] [name]Mae[/name] is very nice. [name]Tea[/name] (tay-a) or [name]Thea[/name] are cute nns if you change your mind.
If [name]Wendy[/name], [name]Emmeline[/name]. If [name]Kathleen[/name] or [name]Mae[/name], [name]Althea[/name]. I like the clear-skied beauty of [name]Althea[/name], but [name]Emmeline[/name] is way more fun (speaking from personal experience.) 
I think the middle names all sounds better with [name]Althea[/name]. Also, I know you aren’t planning on giving her a nickname but I absolutely love the nickname [name]Thea[/name]. If you like it, it’s nice to know it’s an option if you decide to shorten her name later in life.
Thanks for the input everyone! I’m slightly leaning towards [name]Althea[/name] at this point (though I am considering other middle name options to better fit [name]Emmeline[/name]…).
