What are your thoughts on the name [name_f]Alyssa[/name_f]?

It feels a bit 80s but there’s nothing really wrong with it. I don’t think I’d be like “wow” or anything if I met a little [name_f]Alyssa[/name_f], but I also wouldn’t think it was a bad choice.
I’ve known 10, so I think it’s overused

I know a bunch of Alyssa’s, all born in the 80s - 90s. I think it’s a bit dated. Like [name_f]Jennifer[/name_f] - nothing wrong with [name_f]Jennifer[/name_f], just tied to a particular decade.
For some reason even though it was a popular name for 80s/90s it’s one that I still really love! Thanks [name_f]Alyssa[/name_f] [name_m]Milano[/name_m] lol. It feels like a classic still to me instead of a passing trend

I love it, it’s been my longest favourite girl name ever. I think I’ve loved it for at least 15 years now!
I can see it being dated in the US/Canada where it had its peak in the 80s/90s, but I’m in the UK and it isn’t dated at all here.
It was really popular ~20-30 years ago so it feels a bit dated for a new baby now but the sound is very pretty and I do like it.
