Am I crazy?

So recently I was in class and my teacher made a combo name based on the people in the groups. One group had a girl called [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] and a girl called [name_f]Ella[/name_f] in it combining it to Elphie (exact spelling). I think it’s really pretty and I was wondering what you guys thought. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you like it , what combo would you have it in and what would you name a sibling to Elphie? (Pronounced like elle-fee)

I actually love that name!! I think it’s really pretty and unique, in a good way.

I think it’s sounds like a fun name like [name_u]Remy[/name_u] or something. For siblings how about…
[name_u]Rani[/name_u]
[name_f]Gigi[/name_f]
[name_f]Vienna[/name_f]
[name_f]Veda[/name_f]
[name_f]Mira[/name_f]
[name_f]Mila[/name_f]
[name_f]Amity[/name_f]
[name_f]Liv[/name_f]
[name_f]Paige[/name_f]
[name_f]Raine[/name_f]
[name_f]Ellie[/name_f]
[name_f]Nova[/name_f]
[name_f]Nola[/name_f]
[name_f]Faye[/name_f]
[name_f]Tess[/name_f]
[name_f]Iris[/name_f]
[name_u]Ruby[/name_u]
[name_f]Trixie[/name_f]
[name_f]Kaia[/name_f]

[name_m]Xavier[/name_m]
[name_m]Zach[/name_m]
[name_m]Samson[/name_m]
[name_u]Kendall[/name_u]
[name_m]Nate[/name_m]
[name_m]Tomas[/name_m]
[name_m]Willem[/name_m]
[name_m]Archer[/name_m]
[name_m]Zane[/name_m]
[name_m]Dante[/name_m]
[name_m]Eric[/name_m]
[name_u]Jess[/name_u]
[name_u]Dean[/name_u]
[name_m]Eamon[/name_m]
[name_m]Uriah[/name_m]

I came across Elfine a while and love [name_f]Elfie[/name_f]. I have Elaphia (Ancient Greek name) nn Elphie on my list. I also had a (female) friend with nn [name_u]Alfie[/name_u], so Elphie/[name_f]Elfie[/name_f] feels pretty familiar and usable to me. I’d imagine something short and sweet as siblings for Elphie:

[name_f]Nora[/name_f]
[name_f]Thea[/name_f]
[name_f]Maeve[/name_f]
[name_f]Rhea[/name_f] ([name_u]Ray[/name_u]-uh)
[name_f]Cleo[/name_f]/[name_f]Clio[/name_f]
[name_f]Pippa[/name_f]/[name_f]Pippi[/name_f]
[name_f]Heidi[/name_f]
[name_f]Belle[/name_f]
[name_f]Gaia[/name_f]
[name_u]Jules[/name_u]

[name_u]Beau[/name_u]
[name_m]Vaughn[/name_m]
[name_u]Kit[/name_u]
[name_u]Kai[/name_u]
[name_m]Xander[/name_m]
[name_u]Theo[/name_u]
[name_m]Leo[/name_m]
[name_m]Jago[/name_m] ([name_u]Jay[/name_u]-go)
[name_u]Misha[/name_u]

Either/both
[name_u]Robin[/name_u]
[name_u]Rowan[/name_u]
[name_u]Blake[/name_u]
[name_u]Sage[/name_u]
[name_u]Cairo[/name_u]

It’s very sweet and definitely usable. It reminds me of [name_f]Delphi[/name_f] which was on my list years back. I still think it’s really pretty.

Reminds me immediately of Elphaba, nn Elphie from Wicked, which to me is a good thing. It’s cute.

I think it’s really cute!
I like it as a nickname for [name_f]Delphine[/name_f], but it doesnt have to be a nickname imo

I like Elphie/[name_f]Elfie[/name_f], but I’m fond of antiquity [name_f]Elfrida[/name_f]/[name_f]Elfreda[/name_f]. Nameberry says its unappealing but Nameberry lied. [name_f]Elfie[/name_f] is lilting.

I agree. [name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Elfrida[/name_f]/Elfride/[name_f]Elfreda[/name_f], nn. [name_f]Elfie[/name_f].

[name_f]Elfie[/name_f] is the name of our elf on the shelf. I can’t get past that
