hi. I can’t choose between these names for an Arab story character. thoughts?
I think both are lovely names! I slightly prefer [name_f]Amina[/name_f] because of the association with [name_f]Queen[/name_f] [name_f]Amina[/name_f].
[name_f]Amina[/name_f]
both are lovely, but i slightly prefer amal ![]()
she feels elegant and sleek; a perfect little black dress[name_f][/name_f] kind of name, in my opinion. she also has a lovely meaning.
[name_f][/name_f]you might also like amira ![]()
I love both !
I think I slightly prefer Amina for nicknames sake - Minnie or Mina
When a think of Amal I think of a strong independent and vivacious lawyer . Amina I think for frilly and feminine
[name_f]Amal[/name_f]
[name_f][/name_f] So classic and beautiful.
I am more familiar with [name_f]Amal[/name_f] as a boy name, so as a character in a book I would go with [name_f]Amina[/name_f] to avoid gender ambiguity (unless thats what you’re going for)
[name_f]Amina[/name_f] is my favorite! [name_f]Amina[/name_f] sounds happy, curious, sweet and amiable.
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Amal[/name_f] is also a beautiful option. I picture someone sophisticated, clever and determined.
I guess it depends on the character, but just going based off preference I’d pick [name_f]Amal[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f]- distinctive and strong, but with a warm feel too.
I think it would depend on the character for me (but I like both… and also [name_f]Amira[/name_f] which @emeraldsea[name_f][/name_f] mentioned!). [name_f][/name_f] Probably because of [name_f]Amal[/name_f] [name_m]Clooney[/name_m], but [name_f]Amal[/name_f] feels more mature for me and [name_f]Amira[/name_f] more youthful? [name_f][/name_f] Both are lovely names though! [name_f][/name_f] Good luck!
