Amarine?

So I was searching for variations of [name_f]Amara[/name_f] today and came across Amarine. I searched for it in Behind the Name and ThinkBabyNames; but nothing came up. Then on BabyNamesPedia and found it. While it does not share the same meaning as [name_f]Amara[/name_f], the website says that variationAmarina stems from Australia’s native language and means rain. Have you heard of this before? I saw an old post about it on Nameberry, a woman had found it in a baby name books, and people told her it sounded/was made up. I don’t think I would use it, I was just seeing if there was a variation. I have this tendency of creating combos where both names end in A, haha!

I have never heard the name. I do like [name_f]Marina[/name_f] which is similar.

Amarine is lovely name.
