But I now find myself wondering about it as a first name. It’s a bit more out there for me, but I love the idea of nns [name_f]Mara[/name_f] and [name_f]Amy[/name_f].
What are your general thoughts on [name_f]Amaris[/name_f]? Better as a first or middle? And what middles would you pair [name_f]Amaris[/name_f] with?
[name_f]Amaris[/name_f] is lovely - sleek and soft to say. I also like the possibility of nickname [name_f]Amy[/name_f]
That said, Téa [name_f]Amaris[/name_f] is very pretty and im quite taken with that combo.

It has the lovely qualities of [name_u]Damaris[/name_u] and [name_f]Amaryllis[/name_f] while seeming much less ‘out there’ and along the lines of [name_f]Maris[/name_f], [name_f]Carys[/name_f], or [name_f]Amabel[/name_f].
[name_f]Lovely[/name_f] sounds and a bright finish. I like it and can definitely see it working well as a first, but Téa [name_f]Amaris[/name_f] is beautiful.

I don’t think it’s too out there for a fn. It has a gentle sound that’s very appealing. It’s not one I’ve ever considered, but I find it remarkably pretty!
