Amaryllis

I just saw a local production of the show the [name]Music[/name] [name]Man[/name]. I now have a crush on the name [name]Amaryllis[/name]. What do you think of this name? Can you see it working on a modern little girl? [name]How[/name] about an adult? [name]Do[/name] you honk she would go by a nn? Thanks for your opinions

Hmm… I actually kind of like it. NN could be [name]Lissie[/name] when she’s younger and Lis when she’s older.

I think it’s a little heavy. And, I think it sounds more like a disease than a flower. However, I think allyfally has a point, [name]Lissie[/name] or Lis as nicknames ARE adorable.

Rylla would be a cute nn too. I kinda like it, but i would definitely want to shorten it for every day use.

[name]Love[/name] it. [name]Love[/name] it. [name]Love[/name] it.

I love it but would use [name]Amy[/name] as a nickname, same as another flower name, [name]Amarantha[/name].

I named a character [name]Amaryllis[/name] once, I think it’s a really interesting name. That character was called Ryllis for short.

I love the name [name]Amaryllis[/name].
I played her in a community theater production as a kid and seriously developed the same name crush. Haha.

It’s a lot of name, but luckily so many nn options! [name]Amy[/name], Ames, [name]Lissie[/name], Lis, [name]Lissa[/name], [name]Rilla[/name]…I think it would be a very pretty standout full name with plenty of ways to make it her own later on.
