I feel like this is a name that’s gone right over my head! I know it’s incredibly popular but I don’t know any- must have missed my area. It’s a little traditional next to my other children’s names, [name_u]Mason[/name_u] and [name_f]Brenna[/name_f]. But I love it enough to keep it on my list anyway. I really love the nn [name_f]Millie[/name_f], and think that fits nicely with Mase and [name_f]Bren[/name_f]. Is [name_f]Millie[/name_f] intuitive for [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] or would some consider it a “stretch”? And do you have any middle name ideas? Irish ones preferred!

Last name similar to [name_u]McCarthy[/name_u]. Siblings are [name_u]Mason[/name_u] [name_m]Patrick[/name_m] and [name_f]Brenna[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f]. Thanks! :sunglasses:

I love [name_f]Amelia[/name_f]! I actually don’t hear it very often.

We have an [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] [name_f]Marie[/name_f]. It kind of rolls right off your tongue. I had a aunt who thought her name was [name_f]Mildred[/name_f] all her life, because she had always been called [name_f]Millie[/name_f]. She found out when she was in her 70’s that her name was actually [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] :slight_smile: We sometimes call my daughter [name_f]Mia[/name_f] because she can’t quite pronounce [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] yet.
