[name]Do[/name] you live in a French-speaking area? I really, really love Amélie et [name]Maxence[/name] in French, but Amélie and Léandre in English!
We live in Belgium, which is a bilingual Dutch/French country, even trilingual but that is for another time. The first language I spoke was French, so French names to me sound and feel intimate and familiar. A lot of people here give their children French names, so it is quite common to hear French names.
