Amelle and Mika

For Amelle, I’ve only found one meaning for it online and apparently its derived from the Arabic word “amal” which means hope/expectation and is French. But I’m not sure that makes sense because from what I know “amal” means resolution. Has anyone heard of it or have a baby book they could look it up in?
Same query for [name]Mika[/name] (pronounced Mee-ka). Anyone know what it means? And are these good sibling names for sisters? I’m not too into the match-matchy names just names that sound right together.
Thanks!

Various net results for [name]Mika[/name]:

diminutive of [name]Mikhail[/name] (thus would be male in Russian, like [name]Sasha[/name] and [name]Mischa[/name]), diminutive of [name]Dominika[/name]

Osage language, “raccoon”

Nameberry lists it as Japanese, and I have seen it in that context. The meaning the site gives - “God’s child” - is often listed elsewhere in conjunction with the Russian [name]Mika[/name], though.

I cannot vouch for any of these. It’s possible that all are correct; simple names generally occur independently in multiple languages.
