All hypothetical, no kids for me!
I fell in love with the name Arkady after a Russian TV character, and also love Arcadio (as Jose Arcadio in 100 years of solitude.) I like the spelling Arcady, but I don’t know what I would pair it with (as a first or middle) to make it more culturally neutral.
John Arcadio? Robert Arkady? Arcadio Parker? Or is it a lost cause?
[name_m]Arkady[/name_m] sounds really American to me already! I don’t know if it makes sense to make something culturally neutral. It’s fine to mix and match.
Fist off, I don’t think there’s a need to anglicize it! It’s great just the way it is!
Also, as for the middle. You can mix-and-match. There’s no need to make it culturally neutral. Especially if it’s just hypothetical.
So while [name_m]John[/name_m] Arcadio is fine, you can incorporate other names that you love.

America is such a melting pot of cultures that I wouldn’t be at all surprised to see Arkady or Arcadio used here. I adore both and think they are lovely without a traditional American name to pair with

I mean the Americanization of the would be what? Kade…Arch? Arcadius?
I don’t think this name has an [name_f]English[/name_f] equivalent (or at least I’m not aware of one). I think [name_m]Arkady[/name_m] and Arcadio are great names. [name_m]John[/name_m] Arcadio and [name_u]Robert[/name_u] [name_m]Arkady[/name_m] sound fine to me.
I’ve met an [name_m]Arkadiusz[/name_m] (I’m not great at explaining pronunciations, but it’s pronounced something like ar-ka-dyoosh), is the Polish form of this name. I always thought it was a cool and interesting name.
