How are the vibes different for you?

Yes. [name_f]Amy[/name_f] gives me more traditional, millennial vibes & [name_f]Aimee[/name_f] makes me think of the character from They both die at the end.

Its a good lgbt+ book lol

I won’t spoil it but I recommend it! One of my favorites.

[name_f]Aimee[/name_f] has a slightly more bubbly feel whereas [name_f]Amy[/name_f] is a little more grounded and classic

I mean the ending is very unclear

Spoiler: mateo died but they leave rufus on end, they never say if he lives or not, they just end the book. I was under the impression that he died but I guess thats not what the author was going for.

[name_f]Aimee[/name_f] has a bit more energy to me like other posters have said!! [name_f]Amy[/name_f] feels a bit more versatile — I’ve known so many that it feels like any middle-aged woman regardless of personality could easily be an [name_f]Amy[/name_f]! However, I have a bit of a harder time seeing [name_f]Amy[/name_f] on a baby, and no trouble picturing a baby [name_f]Aimee[/name_f] somehow

I like [name_f]Aimee[/name_f], since it seems to be quite unique. It feels slightly sweeter than [name_f]Amy[/name_f], as well!

I actually always pronounce these two spellings differently, even though it’s the same name

In my mind…

[name_f]Amy[/name_f] is ay-mee

[name_f]Aimee[/name_f] is EYE-mee

[name_f]Amy[/name_f] is standard girl next door and [name_f]Aimee[/name_f] is more … trying to be different.

[name_f]Aimee[/name_f] starts to look really weird to me after awhile, like taking aim, whee combined. I prefer [name_f]Amy[/name_f].

I still dont know what you mean lol

[name_f]Amy[/name_f] feels very 80s-90s popular girl to me

[name_f]Aimee[/name_f] reminds me of the french so it feels nicer but makes me want to say it ai-may even though I know that’s not the intention

They do give me different vibes. Aimee suits someone under the age of 18 more but Amy suite someone Iver the age of 18 more. Overall though I definetely prefer the Amy spelling
