We are looking for something less common rather than more common or traditional, but not as wild as, say, [name]Blaze[/name]. Our first son is named [name]Easton[/name] [name]Cade[/name] [name]Smith[/name]–we have received so many compliments on that one, and of course we love it too. This time around it’s been much more of a struggle to find something we’re in love with. He’s due in a week so it’s crunch time!
Ooooo, two good names (and [name]Easton[/name] [name]Cade[/name] is great!)…[name]Bennett[/name] is my personal favorite! [name]How[/name] about [name]Bennett[/name] [name]Jude[/name], [name]Bennett[/name] [name]Pfeiffer[/name], or [name]Bennett[/name] [name]McCoy[/name]?
[name]Bennett[/name] is quite a distinguished name and I think it’s a wonderful sibling name for [name]Easton[/name]'s brother. [name]Colton[/name] is too similar in ending to [name]Easton[/name] so I wouldn’t personally choose this name. Here are some suggestions for middle names.
I agree with mischa about the matching suffixes of [name]Easton[/name] and [name]Colton[/name]. To me, [name]Bennett[/name] and [name]Easton[/name] share a more distinguished style, while [name]Colton[/name] just seems a little more trendy to me. I’m not sure why, that’s just the vibe I get from the names.
Wow, you guys are great! These are all good, and many I have actually considered! I agree, [name]Colton[/name] is probably not as good a match for [name]Easton[/name] as is [name]Bennett[/name]. So if [name]Bennett[/name], then I like:
[name]Bennett[/name] [name]Orion[/name]
[name]Bennett[/name] [name]Jude[/name]
[name]Bennett[/name] [name]Dean[/name]
[name]Bennett[/name] [name]Dane[/name]
[name]Bennett[/name] [name]Cole[/name] (does this sound too much like barnacle?)
[name]Bennett[/name] [name]Crew[/name]
[name]Do[/name] any of these sound like medicines? For example, we liked [name]Bennett[/name] [name]Graham[/name], but it sounds like a medicine for some reason (Benegram?) Maybe we’re over thinking it…[name]Bennett[/name] [name]James[/name] also has a very nice ring to it, just may not be unique enough. I personally like [name]Gage[/name] & [name]Nash[/name] as well, but my wife thinks they are too harsh. With [name]Bennett[/name] being a “distinguished” name as some have pointed out, we are looking for a more fun/cool middle name, kind of like we did with [name]Easton[/name] [name]Cade[/name].
What about [name]Bennett[/name] [name]Drew[/name]?
I like your name style! I like the sound of [name]Bennett[/name] [name]Gage[/name] [name]Smith[/name], though there are lots of great suggestions. I also like the sound of [name]Bennett[/name] [name]Jude[/name] and [name]Bennett[/name] [name]James[/name]; however you might want to consider that the initials in those cases would be BJ. We named our son [name]Bennett[/name] [name]Joel[/name] [name]James[/name] ([name]Joel[/name] & [name]James[/name] are family names) without even considering the initials. I absolutely love my sons name but I do worry he might get teased about his initials at some point when he gets older.
I think [name]Bennett[/name] & [name]Easton[/name] are great names & will make great brothers - congrats!
I like [name]Bennett[/name] more than [name]Colton[/name].
And I really like [name]Bennett[/name] [name]Drew[/name] from the list above. I think that’s super cute!
As a suggestion, I love the name [name]Wade[/name]. [name]Bennett[/name] [name]Wade[/name] is wildly adorable, [name]IMO[/name], but not sure if having [name]Easton[/name] [name]Cade[/name] and [name]Bennett[/name] [name]Wade[/name] matters to you.
