Hello, berries. I come here a lot to look at your beautiful and helpful threads and I see so many beautiful names happening here daily, today I decided I’d be the one to ask for help. I’m not pregnant though, so that’s where the unconventional part comes in.
I’m recovering from a really rough and way-too-long period of my life. My therapist told me to change my name “socially” if I thought that could help me. And I think it can, especially because I hate my own name, but then I need help. I could ask for friends and family to help me with it but they’re all so used to the name I was born and raised with, they can’t think about any others, so I really need some help from you guys.
I don’t know what the requirement for that would be, names I like and feel good with, probably? But I’ll only know once I tried them out. I have a list with everything I’ve seen as tips on the internet below (take a name from a character you identify with, a celebrity you really like, a family member you look up to etc). I’ll eventually try out new last names as I go, but I won’t give you that job, let’s just stick to first names.

I started with the ones that meant the most to me ([name_f]Zoe[/name_f]-[name_f]Ayla[/name_f], in no particular order) and then added some others I liked ([name_f]Heidi[/name_f]-[name_f]Elise[/name_f])
If any of this also helps, I’m 21 (born on march 1997, I’m a pisces), was registered with the 3rd most popular girl name in my city the year I was born, I’m an ENFP, completely arts-inclined person (musical theatre major, child/family photographer, play instruments, dance, sing, act, paint and try to draw), huge languages lover (learned 4 on my own and am working on my 5th), huge animal/nature lover, very outdoorsy person.
I ask that you keep the names you like from this list, names you think would work well with me from the little you now and discard the rest, maybe suggest some others based on what you see on this post.
