… GIRL!
To our great joy, [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f] Wildrose arrived quickly this morning, a bit early and still a little small, but thankfully healthy. It took us no time at all to realize she didn’t look like an [name_f]Apolline[/name_f] (my favorite) or a [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] (his favorite), which is good because [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f] is a name we both grew to love equally.
[name_f]Dorothy[/name_f] is baby sister to [name_m]Peter[/name_m] Nightingale and [name_f]Sabina[/name_f] Mayflower. We couldn’t be happier with our storybook name choice and with our newest little addition! The husband and I are set on [name_f]Dora[/name_f] and [name_f]Dot[/name_f] as nicknames, but more petnames and nicknames are sure to come.
A huge thank you goes out to all of you berries who helped us through the naming process and really provided a wonderful, warm and exciting community that I will be happy to continue participating in.
