and suddenly it seems like it's all coming together! Please help with this last piece

[name]Hi[/name], So we are almost certainly going to go with [name]Leo[/name] for [name]Avery[/name]'s younger brother. I love it and it holds special meaning for a deceased family member.

We are now trying to figure out the middle name, we decided a few days ago that we want something that refers to water/oceans/lakes etc. [name]Avery[/name]'s middle name is [name]Marie[/name] and even though it means “bitter” it is a family name so we used it. I just discovered that other sites (behind the name and think baby names) also say it may mean ‘lady/mistress of the sea, or star of the sea’. This was a very pleasant surprise and makes the quest for a boy middle name that refers to water even more meaningful.

These are the ones we like the most in a blog on this site. What do you think?

[name]Leo[/name] [name]Brooks[/name] (small stream)
[name]Leo[/name] [name]Wade[/name] (at a river’s crossing)
[name]Leo[/name] [name]Morgan[/name] (circling sea)
[name]Leo[/name] [name]Caspian[/name] (the [name]Caspian[/name] Sea)
[name]Leo[/name] [name]Dylan[/name] (son of the sea)

Thank you for any thoughts/feedback!! I have really appreciated all the comments on my other threads!!

1 [name]Leo[/name] [name]Caspian[/name]
2 [name]Leo[/name] [name]Morgan[/name]
3 [name]Leo[/name] [name]Dylan[/name]

[name]Leo[/name] [name]James[/name] (river in the Dakotas)

I like your idea of connecting your two children’s names via the meaning.

I prefer the flow of the names if they don’t both have the same # of syllables… so the best ones from your list imo are
[name]Leo[/name] [name]Wade[/name]
[name]Leo[/name] [name]Brooks[/name] (although [name]Brooks[/name] sounds more feminine to me)
[name]Leo[/name] [name]Caspian[/name] (do you want to be asked if you’re Narinia fans all the time -[name]Caspian[/name] is a good character in the books & movies though)

The pp had some nice suggestions too -but unless you are from the same country as the river (or used to live there -or it has some other significance to you) it would seem weird to me to use the name of a river you’ve never seen/known. Plus, some of these are names in their own right and have their own meaning that has nothing to do with water. However, if there’s a body of water near where you live now, or near a place you have fond memories of, it might be a nice name to use as a mn for your son.

I think [name]Leo[/name] [name]Brooks[/name] flows the best. I also really like the pp suggestion of [name]Leo[/name] [name]Douglas[/name] or [name]Leo[/name] [name]James[/name].

I really like [name]Leo[/name] [name]Brooks[/name]. I think it flows the best and they just sound really good together.

Since [name]Caspian[/name] and [name]Brooks[/name] have both been on my personal list, I am drawn more to them. [name]Love[/name] [name]Leo[/name] [name]Caspian[/name] and [name]Leo[/name] [name]Brooks[/name] second best. Good luck!!

Lilysong: I agree with you, and although [name]Mischa[/name]'s list is awesome (as usual), I would rather that the name’s meaning actually has something to do with the sea, water, etc. This is why I am not sure about [name]Caspian[/name], I have never been anywhere even close to the [name]Caspian[/name] Sea, so there’s no personal significance, I think it’s a cool name though.

I am leaning towards [name]Brooks[/name] or [name]Morgan[/name] (I think).

Any other thoughts?

I vote for [name]Leo[/name] [name]Wade[/name]. (It’s just my personal preference to pick a more masculine name over a unisex one, even in the middle. At least your first name is all boy though. I love [name]Leo[/name]!)

I like [name]Leo[/name] [name]Caspian[/name] - it throws the more common [name]Leo[/name] off.

I love [name]Leo[/name] [name]Caspian[/name]! I love the sea connection, and the connection to [name]Prince[/name] [name]Caspian[/name] (huge [name]Narnia[/name] dork over here!). I think [name]Avery[/name] [name]Marie[/name] and [name]Leo[/name] [name]Caspian[/name] are great together. I also really like [name]Leo[/name] [name]Morgan[/name], [name]Leo[/name] [name]Dylan[/name], and [name]Leo[/name] [name]Brooks[/name].

Good luck!

I really like [name]Leo[/name] [name]Brooks[/name] but how will it flow with your last name? We wanted to use it as a mn as it is my maiden name, but our ln starts with Z and so the names blend together. If it sounds good with your ln I would pick that one. Otherwise my vote would be for [name]Wade[/name]. Good luck!

Zaelia: Last name begins with D. You make a good point and maybe this takes [name]Wade[/name] out of the running, thanks!

I have never read the [name]Narnia[/name] book or seen the movies, but good to know the character was not bad/evil.

My vote is for [name]Leo[/name] [name]Brooks[/name]!

[name]Leo[/name] [name]Morgan[/name] is AMAZING!! So handsome, love it!

I like [name]Brooks[/name], [name]Morgan[/name], and [name]Caspian[/name] best. [name]Kai[/name] might also work. [name]Leo[/name] [name]Kai[/name] sounds cool to me.

Wow, [name]Kai[/name]…I’m kind of liking that!! [name]Will[/name] add that one to the list. Thanks!

I really like [name]Leo[/name] [name]Brooks[/name], it flows well And sounds great!

[name]LOVE[/name] [name]Leo[/name] [name]Caspian[/name].
