I thought I had narrowed my names down to the final four…then [name_f]Ysabel[/name_f] creeped in my head again. I’m starting to think that it is a sign that [name_f]Ysabel[/name_f] should be used. But I’m really not sure. What are your thoughts on [name_f]Ysabel[/name_f]? [name_f]Do[/name_f] you have any [name_f]Ysabel[/name_f] combos? Thanks in advance. : )
I have a soft spot for [name_f]Ysabel[/name_f] after reading [name_u]Terry[/name_u] Pratchett’s ‘[name_m]Mort[/name_m]’. I’m not sure what names I’d put with it though.
I love the ancient spelling! [name_f]Ysabel[/name_f] [name_f]Morgana[/name_f], [name_f]Ysabel[/name_f] [name_f]Lourdes[/name_f], [name_f]Ysabel[/name_f] Diadama, [name_f]Ysabel[/name_f] [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f], [name_f]Ysabel[/name_f] [name_f]Constantia[/name_f]?
Renrose; Thank you : )
Rkrd; [name_f]Ysabel[/name_f] [name_f]Morgana[/name_f] and [name_f]Ysabel[/name_f] [name_f]Lourdes[/name_f] are wonderful!! : )
AHHH, [name_f]Ysabel[/name_f]! It is a beautiful, underused gem that deserves to be discovered! I like [name_f]Ysabel[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] (if you don’t mind pulling apart your [name_f]Emily[/name_f] combo), [name_f]Ysabel[/name_f] [name_f]Charity[/name_f], and [name_f]Ysabel[/name_f] [name_f]Angeline[/name_f].
I like the name when I say it and can see why you would want to use it. However, I just see a lifetime of your daughter being confused with the [name_f]Isabel[/name_f]/[name_f]Isabelle[/name_f]/[name_f]Isabella[/name_f]'s out there. I think that would be very frustrating for her (and probably annoying for you too). If [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] et al wasn’t so uber popular right now, then I would enthusiastically endorse the name.
I am ALWAYS in favor of another [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f]/[name_f]Isabel[/name_f]/[name_f]Isobel[/name_f]/[name_f]Ysabel[/name_f]/etc.! It’s my favorite name in the whole world.
[name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] is my combo, but both middles have significance for me. I think [name_f]Ysabel[/name_f] [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] would be pretty, though. [name_f]Ysabel[/name_f] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f]? [name_f]Ysabel[/name_f] [name_f]Philomena[/name_f]? [name_f]Ysabel[/name_f] [name_f]Felicity[/name_f]?
[name_f]Ysabel[/name_f] is pretty though I fear she may get mixed in with all the belle names. My suggestions are [name_f]Ysabel[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f], [name_f]Ysabel[/name_f] [name_f]Bridget[/name_f], [name_f]Ysabel[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f], or [name_f]Ysabel[/name_f] [name_f]Imogen[/name_f]. These are just based on names I know you previously considered in name combos.
Since [name_f]Isabella[/name_f] is the #1 name right now, I think an [name_f]Ysabel[/name_f] would probably forever be, “[name_f]Ysabel[/name_f] with a Y; bel not bella.” On the other hand, if you’re going to rediscover [name_f]Ysabel[/name_f] this is probably the time to do it, because you CAN say, “[name_f]Isabel[/name_f] with a Y” and people wouldn’t look cross-eyed at you!
Looking at the combos in your list, I’d go wtih [name_f]Ysabel[/name_f] [name_f]Katherine[/name_f].
