So, I just thought about [name_u]Elton[/name_u] [name_m]Thomas[/name_m], & how the initials would be E.T.N. like “E.T.” the movie. I don’t think it would be a good idea to do, but maybe I’m just overthinking it? :grimacing::thinking: I think we will consider [name_m]Andres[/name_m] or [name_m]Carlos[/name_m] for the middle name for [name_u]Elton[/name_u]. Both middle names are honor names of dad & dad’s father (grandpa). Dad & dad’s father (grandpa), are both [name_m]Carlos[/name_m] [name_m]Andres[/name_m] [name_m]Novelo[/name_m]. We’re not set on [name_u]Elton[/name_u] just yet, but we are considering it with a few other names we like. I will do a final post of all the top boy names soon.

Meaning of [name_u]Elton[/name_u] [name_m]Andres[/name_m] would be: The Old Town [name_u]Warrior[/name_u]

Meaning of [name_u]Elton[/name_u] [name_m]Carlos[/name_m] would be: The Old Town [name_u]Free[/name_u] [name_u]Man[/name_u]

I definitely think meaning and sounding wise [name_u]Elton[/name_u] [name_m]Andres[/name_m] [name_m]Novelo[/name_m] takes the cake with this one. It sounds awesome!

(First of all, I wouldn’t find those initials remarkable or embarrassing in any way!)

I think both are very handsome names, but in this situation, I would choose [name_m]Andres[/name_m]! It has a nice softness that goes well with [name_u]Elton[/name_u].

I don’t think ET at the beginning of initials would be bad at all :slight_smile: I’ve never thought of just my first two initials by themselves, just as either a whole set of 3 or just first and last (so if my initials were C.R.N., I only ever think of them as C.R.N. or C.N., not as C.R.).

Whichever one you like the best is what’s best! Whether that’s picking a new middle or not :slight_smile:
