What are your thoughts on [name_f]Anemone[/name_f]? [name_m]How[/name_m] would you pronounce it? It caught my eye today but I’m not sure if I like it. Does it fit my style?
An-em-un-ee? Like Sea [name_f]Anemone[/name_f]? I found it quite hard to say when I tried out loud, but my first thought was sea anemones.
It fits with names like [name_f]Amadea[/name_f], [name_f]Persis[/name_f] and [name_f]Cressida[/name_f], but not all of the names in your girls list.
I agree with the above poster, I’d say An-em-oh-nee, like a sea anemone. I don’t like it as a name though, unfortunately.
Uh-nem-oh-nee? I find it hard to say but i think it fits with your style
I pronounce it like the previous posters. I think of the flower, but also sea anemones, which is maybe less appealing…? [name_m]Just[/name_m] not my style, sorry, though I think it fits with some of the nature and mythological names on your list.
I don’t know if I’m pronouncing it correctly, so please forgive me if I’m mistaken, but when said aloud, it seems strikingly familiar to the word Alimony? Other than that, I like how it looks when written!
Thank you all! Guess I will be putting [name_f]Anemone[/name_f] on my list of maybes.
[name_f]Anemone[/name_f] is a GP of mine but the sea anemone association seems slightly harder to wear than if people only associated it with the flower for some reason?
It’s very pretty though and not unusable.
