What do you think of this name?
In English, it’s pronounced ah-NEM-oh-nee.
In Dutch it’s spellend Anemoon and pronounced ah-neh-moon (moon not like in 
, but in the expression ‘oooh’)

I think it’s pretty cute! I’d only use it as a middle, though. The [name_m]Dutch[/name_m] variant is lovely as well!

I think it’s beautiful, my intuitive pronunciation was ah-neh-moon. Personally would keep it as a gp or middle.

I think it’s cute, but it does have a tricky pronunciation so Id keep it as a middle (I can’t help but think of that scene in finding [name_m]Nemo[/name_m] where he’s trying to pronounce anemone and can’t)

Both [name_f]Anemone[/name_f] and Anemoon are lovely as gps, imo, mainly because Anemoon I find rather hard to pronounce and [name_f]Anemone[/name_f] simply reminds me of alimony (
).

I think it would be fine as a middle name. I don’t love it as a first name, personally. (I think of the Finding [name_m]Nemo[/name_m] scene where the characters can’t pronounce “anemone”!)

I know loads of people who mispronounce it “an enemy”. That would put me off.

I really want to like it as I love a lot of botanical names but unfortunately it reminds me of the word amonia and I find it a bit clunky so say 🥲
