Anna names...

I think this may be my current favourite girl name and I love the simplicity of it.

What do you think of [name]Annaleigh[/name]? Does it “downgrade” [name]Anna[/name] at all? It is DH’s mother’s middle name so we could move it to the MN spot but I want my first daughter to have [name]Elizabeth[/name] as her MN.
[name]Annaleigh[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name]?

What other [name]Anna[/name] names could work?

I think [name]Annaleigh[/name] definitely ruins [name]Anna[/name]. Sorry! What about [name]Anneliese[/name] instead?

I just love [name]Anna[/name]!
I also love [name]Anneliese[/name], [name]Annabel[/name], and [name]Annika[/name]. [name]Andrea[/name] is pretty, too, but it isn’t an [name]Anna[/name] name. It’s so close though.

You could also go with names that end in “ana” because they would honor your m-i-l without being overly obvious (not that that is a big deal)

gloriana (too bad there is a country band with this name)

I prefer [name]Anna[/name] to [name]Annaleigh[/name]. I love [name]Anna[/name], [name]Anne[/name], [name]Annabel/name, and [name]Anneliese[/name].

Good luck!

Prefer [name]Annaliese[/name], but have nothing against [name]Annaleigh[/name].

[name]Annaliese[/name] and [name]Annika[/name] are my favorite [name]Anne[/name] names outside of just [name]Ann/name or [name]Anna[/name].

Yes. It just looks like a tryndified version of a lovely, classic name. [name]Anna[/name] [name]Leigh[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] could work, though. I love the suggestion of [name]Anneliese[/name]-- it fits in [name]Anna[/name], [name]Elizabeth[/name], and [name]Leigh[/name] all in one! (You couldn’t have [name]Elizabeth[/name] in the middle, though…). My favorite [name]Anna[/name] names:
