I am new to this site, but we have #1 due next year. We are not going to find out the gender, but would love some inspiration for girls’ names. We would love to honour family names in the middle; both sides share the same names [name]Shirley[/name] and [name]Patricia[/name]. We don’t need to use both names together and would consider variations. Surname is two syllables starting with R-n.
At the moment, our current picks are [name]Annabel[/name]/le, [name]Imogen[/name], and maybe [name]Scarlett[/name], to give you an idea on the style. DH also loves [name]Olivia[/name] and [name]Amelia[/name] (for me, both a little popular, but not vetoed). Also happy to take other first name suggestions!
I’d like to find a first middle name that flows nicely with these, and then use either [name]Shirley[/name] or [name]Patricia[/name] as a second middle name. Still debating the two middle names option…

I think [name]Imogen[/name] with a ln that also ends in n would be too choppy. I also think that while it has a lovely meaning, it doesn’t have a nice sound. I actually like [name]Olivia[/name] [name]Shirley[/name] too, but prefer [name]Annabel[/name]!
[name]Imogen[/name] is my favourite, it’s gorgeous. I don’t think [name]Imogen[/name] R-n is too choppy, [name]Imogen[/name]'s got an extra syllable than your surname which makes it work well. I like [name]Olivia[/name], but it is getting very popular, and prefer [name]Annabel[/name] to [name]Annabelle[/name], purely because I love [name]Anna[/name] and loathe the number of Belles/Bellas that are running around, and [name]Annabel[/name] spelling lends itself more to nicknaming [name]Anna[/name]/[name]Annie[/name] rather than [name]Annabelle[/name] which emphasises the [name]Belle[/name] part.
I love [name]Imogen[/name]! It’s very lovely and classic name. I also feel it’s sleek and chic. [name]Annabel[/name] is fine. It’s just pretty. I think [name]Olivia[/name] is somewhat beautiful name, but I feel it’s TOO TOO popular! Honestly, I’m now sick of [name]Olivia[/name].
