Annabel

What’s your take on this name? What impressions do you get? Is it too cutesy or would it sound OK on a grown woman?

I adore [name]Annabel[/name]! My favorite girls’ name is [name]Isabelle[/name] but if it weren’t, I am pretty sure [name]Annabel[/name] (or maybe [name]Annabelle[/name]) would be a very serious contender for its replacement! I adore the nns [name]Annie[/name] and [name]Belle[/name]/[name]Bella[/name], and I think it ages seamlessly! It’s such a beautiful name.

I think it’s wonderful, and I would love to meet a little girl with the name.

Good luck!

I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Annabel[/name], but I prefer the spelling [name]Annabelle[/name]! I think it is ageless and and stunning! If she felt it were cutesy she could go by her choice of a ton of NNs, like [name]Anne[/name], [name]Anna[/name], [name]Annie[/name], [name]Belle[/name], probably even [name]Abby[/name].

I adore [name]Annabel[/name]! It’s such a stunning name, and I think it would work well on many types of people, from a baby all the way to an old lady, as well as many types of personalities, from a quiet introvert all the way to an outspoken extrovert.

I love the name [name]Annabel[/name]! It will age wonderfully and if she wanted she can go by [name]Anna[/name]. Loove nn [name]Annie[/name]. [name]Belle[/name] and bells are really cute too. I would use this name if I could. It’s my [name]SIL[/name]'s dd name though

I love the name!!! I loved it so much I named my daughter [name]Annabel[/name] (same spelling) We get complimented on her name all the time. She goes by [name]Annabel[/name] 75% of the time but we also call her [name]Belle[/name] and my older daughter calls her [name]Annie[/name]. A few weeks ago we met an older lady named [name]Annabel[/name]. She stopped to play with my daughter and she asked me what her name was. When I told her it was [name]Annabel[/name] her face lit right up. She told me it was her name as well and that she had always loved her name. She wore it very very well, she was so happy to see it on a little girl she said. It is a beautiful name on my little girl who is just 15 months old and it was just as beautiful on that [name]Annabel[/name] we met that day who was probably close to 80.

[name]Annabel[/name] is absolutely gorgeous! It is my 2nd favorite girl name! I think that it would grow up great as a girls name!

I adore [name]Annabel[/name] (but prefer the spelling- [name]Annabelle[/name]) I would have used it, but I couldnt get my husband on board. He didnt like anything with [name]Anna[/name]. I think [name]Anna[/name] names are lovely and feminine, sophisticated, yet whimsical. [name]Just[/name] beautiful.

I love it, and could easily see it on a grown woman. The first thing that comes to mind for me is “[name]Annabel[/name] [name]Lee[/name],” the poem by [name]Edgar[/name] [name]Allan[/name] [name]Poe[/name]. It’s quite a sad poem, but to me, it gives [name]Annabel[/name] a certain musical quality.

I’ll be the odd one out and say it sounds too cutesy.

That is one of my fav name. I love it n previously consider it as my own possible future daughter name. It’s cute but also fit to a grown lady. so, no problem.

I love it. I dont know if I would ever use it or not, but I do really like it.

And I dont think its too cutesy.

I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Annabel[/name]… I can just picture a darling little girl up to an old lady with that name… timeless and beautiful…

I have a friend (mid-30s) named [name]Annabel[/name] who is from a long line of Annabels, so to me it definitely seems suited to a grown-up. It’s a beautiful name. My friend went by [name]Abby[/name], when she was a kid, her mother I think was called [name]Abel[/name], and her grandmother had another nickname–I believe [name]Anna[/name]. I’m not sure if it was the great-grandmother’s name, too, but it may have been. So obviously that family found it to be a timeless name, and I’d agree.
