Hey you have spelt [name_f]Araminta[/name_f] on your poll wrong-It may change your results. [name_f]Arabella[/name_f] is the only one I dislike-[name_f]Araminta[/name_f] is actually really lovely! [name_f]Annabella[/name_f] is nice too.

I like [name_f]Annabella[/name_f] best. I think. I love the utter frilliness of [name_f]Arabella[/name_f], and one of the rumored meanings “prayerful”, but I do love how quirky-British [name_f]Araminta[/name_f] is (I wouldn’t have thought of the [name_m]Royal[/name_m] Mint–but I’m not British…). I think [name_f]Araminta[/name_f] would be the hardest to live with. [name_f]Annabella[/name_f]'s just so open and fun to say, and I would love to meet a little [name_f]Annabella[/name_f]! I think people find it more frilly than Italian, at least here, but I think it is a great Italian name! I’d easily use names I am not from that nationality, though ([name_f]Eleni[/name_f], Madelief, [name_f]Anouk[/name_f], for example!), so I’m more open to the idea of a little British [name_f]Annabella[/name_f]. I think it’s darling.

I chose [name_f]Araminta[/name_f], with [name_f]Annabella[/name_f] in second, and [name_f]Arabella[/name_f] last. To me, [name_f]Araminta[/name_f] is obscure, beautiful, and fresh. [name_f]Annabella[/name_f] is classic, flowing, and perpetual. [name_f]Arabella[/name_f], while pretty, seems more trendy. I want to say it’s the ‘bella’ part, but that would make me a hypocrite considering how i feel towards [name_f]Annabella[/name_f]. It’s just a feeling. They are all nice, however.

[name_f]Annabella[/name_f] sounds all English to me. Posh English. I like that [name_f]Ann[/name_f] means [name_f]Grace[/name_f] and [name_f]Bella[/name_f] means beauty. I had [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] on my list but I have actually come to find it less appealing recently. I think it’s the "ella’ part- [name_f]Ella[/name_f]/ [name_f]Bella[/name_f] names are over done to my ear. Which for me rules out [name_f]Arabella[/name_f] too. I do have a GP liking for [name_f]Arabella[/name_f]- however it is bound to be misheard as [name_f]Annabella[/name_f].
Which leaves [name_f]Araminta[/name_f]- which while certainly more quirky has the appealing nn of [name_f]Minty[/name_f]. Which sounds so fresh and cute for a child. [name_f]Araminta[/name_f] is a long name to wear as an adult. [name_f]Minni[/name_f] could also be a NN or even [name_u]Ari[/name_u].

I’m loving [name_f]Arabella[/name_f] atm, but it is the only -ella name I like. It just sounds and looks really pretty, and it’s still no where near as popular as [name_f]Isabella[/name_f]/[name_f]Isabelle[/name_f]. I really like the [name_u]Ara[/name_u]- sound in [name_f]Arabella[/name_f] and [name_f]Araminta[/name_f], but [name_f]Annabella[/name_f] feels a bit off for some reason. I don’t like [name_f]Anna[/name_f] much so it might be that, or because I’ve grown used to [name_f]Annabel[/name_f], and the extra -la is a bit too much. Anyway, I love [name_f]Arabella[/name_f] (trendy or not), then [name_f]Araminta[/name_f], then [name_f]Annabella[/name_f].

I really like [name_f]Araminta[/name_f], it strikes me as grounded, yet light and zesty. I think it would allow any girl to have a great visual name but also to totally make it their own. I alway get a great boho/pseudo-nature history name when I hear this - it really covers all the bases.

Prefer [name_f]Annabel[/name_f] but voted [name_f]Annabella[/name_f]. Very pretty and seems more established than similar and also pretty [name_f]Arabella[/name_f].

I really like [name_f]Arabella[/name_f]! I also like [name_f]Annabel[/name_f], but not a fan of [name_f]Annabella[/name_f] (strangely enough!) or [name_f]Araminta[/name_f] unfortunately.

I think [name_f]Araminta[/name_f] would be the boldest and most evocative choice. I find it the most interesting of the three choices. Since you already have numerous names with similar sounds/letters in your signature names (eg. [name_f]Sibylla[/name_f], [name_f]Raphaela[/name_f], [name_f]Fenella[/name_f] etc…) , another “el/ella” name would be overkill.

I like [name_f]Arabella[/name_f] the best, but all the options are gorgeous. I feel like I would hate for my child to be called [name_f]Minty[/name_f] because it would cause teasing and likely become more annoying than adorable, but [name_f]Minnie[/name_f] would be very sweet, as would just [name_f]Araminta[/name_f]. I feel like [name_f]Annabella[/name_f] is pretty, but I prefer the more simplistic [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f], because [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] has a childhood significance for me (my first baby doll that I properly named, I got into names with [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f], haha), plus, I would hate for a name as pretty as [name_f]Annabella[/name_f] to be shortened to the increasingly popular [name_f]Bella[/name_f] (although [name_f]Bella[/name_f] is cute). Although, [name_f]Arabella[/name_f] would likely become [name_f]Bella[/name_f] as well.

Basically: [name_f]Arabella[/name_f] if you wont be shortening the name, [name_f]Araminta[/name_f] if you will be shortening.
