Annabelle to honour...

Hey berries!

Sooo… long story short, my Mum’s name is [name_f]Annette[/name_f]. My Mum is my hero and inspiration, and we definitely want to use her name… but it’s not really our style and we find it a bit clunky.

I was just doing a search, and I came across [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f], which I love, and wondered if this could work??

I feel it fits for two reasons, as follows!
[name_f]Annette[/name_f] (Mum’s name) comes from [name_f]Ann[/name_f], which comes from [name_f]Hannah[/name_f]. [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] is my sister’s name, and we have called her HannahBelle (often just [name_f]Belle[/name_f]) since she was 18 months (now 17 years).

So, [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] would be honouring both women in my family, in sound and meaning. I also love how it shows the connectedness between the names.

Yes?? No?? Am I stretching too far??

[name_f]TIA[/name_f] xx

Not a stretch at all! I think it works really nicely!!

[name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] is a fabulous tribute based on what you said!

Not a stretch esp if it’s for both!

I think it’s a nice tribute and a great idea! [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] is absolutely adorable.

I think it works

I think as a first name it would totally do the job, as a middle name if it’s really there just to honour her I think it could be a little closer (however if it’s there to also honour your sister it works again).
However, you could always just ask your mum?!

Yes! I think the connection is obvious.

[name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] is great! Not a stretch at all.

Definitely not a stretch, I think it’s got a beautiful meaning behind it.
