Annabeth

Hello berries,
What do you think of [name_f]Annabeth[/name_f]? It is my favorite smoosh name and I was thinking of adding it to the list. The only namesake I know is [name_f]Annabeth[/name_f] [name_u]Chase[/name_u] from the [name_u]Percy[/name_u] [name_m]Jackson[/name_m] series, whom it find quite cool.
What is your opinion on [name_f]Annabeth[/name_f]? Does it go with names in my signature?

[name_f]Annabeth[/name_f]

I think [name_f]Annabeth[/name_f] is lovely. She has this soft lyrical sound and oozes femininity. I love this southern belle name and her range of delightful nicknames such as [name_f]Anna[/name_f], [name_f]Annie[/name_f], [name_f]Anne[/name_f], [name_f]Beth[/name_f] etc. She’s a lovely choice and works perfectly with the names in your signature.

I think it’s a beautiful choice. It flows well and sounds classic. You should definitely add it.

[name_f]Annabeth[/name_f] is one of the only smoosh names I love. It’s got a beautiful flow and [name_f]Anna[/name_f] or [name_f]Beth[/name_f] are both great as nn’s.

I don’t go in for many smoosh names, but I’d use [name_f]Annabeth[/name_f] in a second. I would seriously consider it if I were expecting. I like names with nickname options and [name_f]Annie[/name_f] and [name_f]Betsy[/name_f] are two of my favorites.

Thank you berries! [name_f]Do[/name_f] you think [name_f]Betty[/name_f] would be a cute nickname?

I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] it! So sweet and girly.

I quite like [name_f]Annabeth[/name_f]. It’s soft, sweet, and demure but strong and solid due to being derived from two evergreen classics. I do think of [name_f]Annabeth[/name_f] from [name_u]Percy[/name_u] [name_m]Jackson[/name_m] but that’s a good association to me- she was a spunky modern heroine, a good role model for kids.

I have a soft spot for [name_f]Annabeth[/name_f] too. It’s sweet, dainty and feminine but with an underlying strength. I heard the name for the first name years ago when I watched the film “Mystic Pizza” which starred actress [name_f]Annabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Gish[/name_f].

[name_f]Annabeth[/name_f] is amazing! I’ve always loved the name since I read the [name_u]Percy[/name_u] [name_m]Jackson[/name_m] series, and the books don’t ruin the name at all! [name_f]Betty[/name_f] is such a cute nickname, and I think that [name_f]Annabeth[/name_f] goes with basically every name in your signature. [name_m]Percival[/name_m] and [name_f]Annabeth[/name_f] would be a bit awkward, though.

I read [name_u]Percy[/name_u] [name_m]Jackson[/name_m] too and yes, I [name_f]ADORE[/name_f] [name_f]Annabeth[/name_f].

Thank you for the opinions! I am glad to find out there are so many fellow [name_f]Annabeth[/name_f] lovers on the boards.

[name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_f]Annabeth[/name_f]! And the PJO series, too! Definitely add it to your list!

I usually don’t like smoosh names, but I absolutely love [name_f]Annabeth[/name_f]. It has such a sweet sound to it. It’s a bit less mature(aged?) with the names in your signature, but I think it could work with them. The only ones I wouldn’t pair it with are [name_m]Percival[/name_m] and [name_m]Grover[/name_m] because of the [name_u]Percy[/name_u] [name_m]Jackson[/name_m] connection.

I sadly dropped it off my list because I love [name_m]Perseus[/name_m] a bit more, so I would love to see someone else use it or add it to their list.

[name_f]Annabeth[/name_f] is great and I’d use [name_f]Betty[/name_f] as a nn in a heartbeat. I love [name_f]Betty[/name_f]

Oh, I just noticed that you have [name_m]Grover[/name_m] in your signature. Highly suggest not having an [name_f]Annabeth[/name_f] if you have a [name_m]Grover[/name_m] (and vice versa). Because, you know… two main characters from PJO.

I’m a bit late (only just finished re-reading the first PJ) I love [name_f]Annabeth[/name_f]! The character helped me love it, but it’s a really beautiful name, plus it honours my mum, who’s middle name is [name_f]Ann[/name_f]. Perfect!

[name_f]Annabeth[/name_f] is a lovely name. I prefer it as a given name than as a nickname.

I think it’s a great name, and your little one will have a great literary role model, but I don’t think it goes that well with the names in your signature. Maybe with [name_f]Tabitha[/name_f] and [name_f]Theodora[/name_f] girl-wise and [name_u]Robin[/name_u] from your boys but that’s it. Oh and [name_m]Grover[/name_m], of course.
