What do you think of [name]Annalie[/name]? I just came across it and think it’s lovely. It’s a variation of [name]Hannah[/name], I think Finnish (?), I may be wrong. What are your thoughts? I think we might add it to the list.

[name]Every[/name] time I see someone suggest [name]Annalie[/name], [name]Annalee[/name], [name]Analeigh[/name] I immediately think it’s a joke because it’s [name]WAY[/name] too similar to anally to go unnoticed!!! The only spelling that MIGHT avoid that association is [name]Annaleigh[/name]. Personally, I think there are just too many great names out there to take your chances on one (or most likely several) stupid kid making the association and having her be nicknamed ‘anally’ for the rest of her life It’s too bad too, because it would be lovely name.
Agree with the anally association. No girl should have to go through high school with this name.

[name]Annalee[/name] was to be my SOs name if he were born a girl. And his mom really pushed for it as option for our two girls. But the anal association is just too much (of course I didn’t say that to her though haha!). As pretty a name as it is, there is no way of avoiding the teasing that is sure to ensue once they are in school.
For the longest time I loved the name, [name]Anna[/name]-[name]Lee[/name] but really I decided the anal closeness wasn’t personally worth it (for me). I do like the spellings [name]Annalee[/name], [name]Annalie[/name], [name]Annaleigh[/name] are much better with two “n’s” so it doesn’t actually spell ‘anal.’ Like, [name]Analie[/name]. Good luck on what you decide. Some other [name]Anna[/name] names… [name]Annalise[/name], [name]Annabel[/name], [name]Annabella[/name], [name]Annabeth[/name], [name]Anna[/name]-[name]Sophia[/name], etc… :). GL
