Annalise?

What are your thoughts on the name [name_f]Annalise[/name_f]? I really like it myself, but I’m not sure that I love it??

Looking for any and all honest feedback on it!

Thanks!

I love [name_f]Annalise[/name_f]. [name_u]Love[/name_u] the meaning. There are choices for nicknames, if one is wanted. For me, it honors my late sister’s first and middle names.

I like the sounds of [name_f]Annalise[/name_f] but the spelling (and its varieties) throws me for some reason

I love this name. We are probably using it for our new baby girl (but using the spelling [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f]). I think it’s such a sweet but under-used name!

I want to like it, but there are so many different spellings, and that always throws me off.

It’s very elegant, but approachable and wearable. Not my personal cup of tea, but it’s nice.

I’m in the same boat as you, where I really do like the name, but I don’t quite love it. I find it elegant, tasteful, and wearable, but I don’t find myself as “wowed” by it as I do by other “A” names.

I love it! I slightly prefer the [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f] spelling though. It feels elegant and sophisticated to me.

[name_f]Annalise[/name_f] is a very pretty name. I love the sophistication of the name, but it still has a cutesy feel. Also, this may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but I think that the nickname [name_f]Annie[/name_f] is so sweet so that is a +.

I think its so pretty, but worry about the “anal” spelling

I love, love, love it! Especially this spelling, but I used to prefer [name_f]Annaliese[/name_f].

I adore it! And [name_f]Annalise[/name_f] is by far my favorite spelling. It reminds me of [name_f]Annalise[/name_f] Keating (tbh not a great association, but I love the show and the name!!!)

My name is [name_f]Annelise[/name_f], and most people try to spell my name [name_f]Annalise[/name_f], so I think your spelling choice is spot on. (I am 24 years old.) My family calls me [name_f]Elise[/name_f], but [name_f]Annelise[/name_f] is also easy to go by. I am used to people telling me my name is pretty when I introduce myself.

I had this name on my list years ago for my daughter until my nasty older brother pointed out with the right accent its essentially the same name as a sex lubricant. [name_u]Haven[/name_u]'t been able to get behind the name since. Poor [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] has the same affliction as it rhymes with an STD
