My husband and I are very strongly considering [name_f]Anne[/name_f] [name_f]Marie[/name_f] but we are unsure of correct spelling. Is it [name_f]Annmarie[/name_f], [name_f]Annemarie[/name_f], [name_f]Anne[/name_f] [name_f]Marie[/name_f], [name_f]Anne[/name_f]-[name_f]Marie[/name_f]? Is it one word, two words or hyphenated? Too many options! I appreciate everyone whoe responds.
They all would work just fine. Such a pretty combination! I think if you want her to be called both names that you should link them as in [name_f]Annmarie[/name_f].
Both [name_f]Annemarie[/name_f] and [name_f]Anne[/name_f]-[name_f]Marie[/name_f] are the correct, original [name_m]French[/name_m] spellings. That said, they’re all wonderful and I think all of them would work
I prefer [name_f]Anne[/name_f] [name_f]Marie[/name_f].
I think [name_f]Annemarie[/name_f] works best if you want her to be called both names.
I think [name_f]Annemarie[/name_f] is the best option to make things simple for her and still look elegant.
I also think [name_f]Anne[/name_f]-[name_f]Marie[/name_f] works best.
My favorite spelling is [name_f]Annemarie[/name_f]
I’ve seen it twice as [name_f]Annemarie[/name_f]. I think that works best if you want to call her by both names, as opposed to using [name_f]Marie[/name_f] as a middle.
[name_f]Anne[/name_f]-[name_f]Marie[/name_f] is my favourite
[name_f]Annemarie[/name_f] looks the most classic and elegant to me. I would spell it [name_f]Annemarie[/name_f] or [name_f]Anne[/name_f]-[name_f]Marie[/name_f] to make it clear that it’s one name and not a first and middle name.
