I’m with @snowmaiden–all of them! The more vintage ones, like [name_u]Shirley[/name_u], [name_f]Patty[/name_f], and [name_f]Muriel[/name_f], I think will come back around. I know a little [name_u]Patsy[/name_u].
[name_f]Chatty[/name_f] was a nickname for [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f], which is so popular now that I can imagine some parents using [name_f]Chatty[/name_f].
[name_m]Can[/name_m] we add [name_f]Bertha[/name_f], [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f], [name_f]Ellen[/name_f], [name_f]Faith[/name_f], and [name_f]Una[/name_f] (pretty please!) to the list?

If I remember correctly, there was a Charlotta who actually wasn’t named Charlotta but her eldest sister was and the old lady (?) called all the sisters Charlotta? One of the sisters was named Leonora but I can’t remember which. They all had long frilly names.
EDIT: Made a tiny research to refresh my memory. The four sisters were Lavendar Lewis’ maids, named Charlotta, Julietta, Evelina, and Leonora. She called them all Charlotta! And they all moved to Boston in the end when they were replaced by another Charlotta lol

I would like to see all these names, except Shirley, Patty, Chatty, Minerva and Muriel, and Josephine is a longtime fave! I’d use Avalon over Avonlea though.

From the later additions suggested for the list, [name_f]Hester[/name_f] & [name_f]Una[/name_f] are lovely too.
[name_u]Blythe[/name_u] is also pretty, & [name_f]Persis[/name_f] is very intriguing, although it might be a difficult name to wear!

I met a young [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] (around 14) recently and it was amazing; I’d also be excited to meet a young [name_f]Minnie[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f], [name_f]Jane[/name_f], [name_f]Minerva[/name_f] or [name_u]Blythe[/name_u].

I love [name_f]Avalon[/name_f] too though it reminds me of [name_f]Roxy[/name_f] [name_f]Music[/name_f] more than [name_u]Anne[/name_u]. I love the soft, cat sounds of [name_f]Muriel[/name_f], but most don’t seem to like it.

I like [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] and I like just [name_f]May[/name_f]. I also kind of like [name_f]Minnie[/name_f] and [name_f]Minnie[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f], but not sure how usable I find the combination of the two.
[name_u]Shirley[/name_u] might come back too. [name_f]Kate[/name_f] isn’t bad. Same with [name_f]Rebecca[/name_f] but it feels dated now. [name_f]Susan[/name_f] will come back too and I like [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] and [name_f]Jane[/name_f].
The others are not for me.

I just finished my first year of retirement from teaching and I’ve decided to succumb to my annual summer desire to reread beloved children’s books (hence this [name_u]Anne[/name_u] thread). I plan to reread the 6 Annes and the [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] Enrights, etc. I just do not care about Dickens in the summer!

I honestly really love the last book (8th) especially, but you definitely have to think of it as a different story than the first six books, 'cause it’s so different haha.
