Anne Rose or Jane Rose?

Which do you prefer. [name_f]Rose[/name_f], in this instance, is the surname. What would you choose, and what middle name, if any, would you considerr?

e.g. [name_u]Anne[/name_u] [name_f]Bridget[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] / [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]

[name_u]Anne[/name_u] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]! I would choose a second, more uncommon middle name for her, something along the lines of [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] or [name_f]Matilda[/name_f]. PP’s suggestion of [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] is brilliant too.

It would be really refreshing to see [name_f]Jane[/name_f] or [name_u]Anne[/name_u] used as a first and not a middle.

Because first and last names are one syllable, which could be professional and punchy when used in everyday life, I’d definitely pair it with a middle name that’s 2 or more syllables.

[name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f], [name_u]Anne[/name_u] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] for traditional
[name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_u]River[/name_u] [name_f]Rose[/name_f], [name_u]Anne[/name_u] [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] for a bit of a nature vibe
[name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Athena[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f], [name_u]Anne[/name_u] [name_f]Calliope[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] for a bit hipster

I love [name_u]Anne[/name_u] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]. The name flows together so easily.

Anne Rose would be lovely!

[name_u]Anne[/name_u] [name_f]Bridget[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]

full name wise, anne bridget rose is absolutely gorgeous, but looking at the title without the explanation, my choice was jane rose.

[name_u]Anne[/name_u] is such a sweet name but maybe a tad short with the one syllable surname [name_f]Rose[/name_f].
[name_f]Rose[/name_f] is such a great surname to work with that the possibilities are endless. For me, I am loving the idea of a double-barreled first name using your options (with a tweak): Anna-Jane [name_f]Rose[/name_f]. I would use [name_f]Bridget[/name_f] as the middle: Anna-Jane [name_f]Bridget[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f].

The two options here are [name_u]Anne[/name_u] or [name_f]Jane[/name_f] with the last name [name_f]Rose[/name_f].

I would pick [name_u]Anne[/name_u]. [name_f]Jane[/name_f] is too close to [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Roe[/name_f].

I think I prefer [name_f]Jane[/name_f], but [name_u]Anne[/name_u] works just as well. [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is absolutely stunning! <3

I prefer [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]. I like the names [name_f]Jane[/name_f] and [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] both better than [name_u]Anne[/name_u] and [name_f]Bridget[/name_f], although they’re cool too! I like the three-syllable middle, I think it balances the short first and last names out.

Very hard one!

Went with [name_f]Jane[/name_f] in the end she’s just very classic and I liked the literacy vibe of [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] together especially with the middle name [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f].

Probably [name_f]Jane[/name_f], but [name_u]Anne[/name_u] was pretty dang close

I’d love either name to be mine! Something so bracing and elegant about those one-syllable evergreen classics.

I think Anne Rose is my favorite. Only because my slight synesthesia colors (lol) my naming preferences and Rose has such a strong crimson color association that I like it best with Anne (white/cream) than Jane (green).

I like it with something kind of obscure and chewy in the middle.

I agree. With me, particularly with [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f], I feel like it sounds beautifully clean and professionally stylish. I think I’d want to be [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f].
