I’ve been posting about [name]Anne[/name]-[name]Sophie[/name] (as well as a couple other names) as I’ve been trying to fill the last spot on my list. Now that I think I may be leaning toward using [name]Anne[/name]-[name]Sophie[/name] as the last spot, I wanted to get more/stronger opinions. I realize it won’t be everyone’s cup of tea, but wdyt of it? Is it refreshing? Or just weird? Would you love to meet an [name]Anne[/name]-[name]Sophie[/name]? What nicknames would you use? [name]Do[/name] you think it’s usable outside the French world (the proper French pronunciation is an-so-[name]FEE[/name], I believe)?
And while we’re at it, combo ideas? I think with a double barrel, it’d be better to stick to only one MN, even though I usually prefer two. So far I’ve been thinking [name]Anne[/name]-[name]Sophie[/name] [name]Catherine[/name], [name]Anne[/name]-[name]Sophie[/name] [name]Felicity[/name], or [name]Anne[/name]-[name]Sophie[/name] [name]Eleanor[/name], but I’m not tied to any of those yet…
Hmm. I really like [name]Sophie[/name] [name]Anne[/name] more. I am saying [name]Anne[/name]-[name]Sophie[/name] the way I intuitively would with an American accent & with the stress being the same on each syllable it fells kind of flat. With my accent [name]Sophie[/name]-[name]Anne[/name] flows better.
[name]Anna[/name] [name]Sofia[/name] flows really well & I love it. It definitely has more feminine drama than [name]Anne[/name]-[name]Sophie[/name] or [name]Sophie[/name]-[name]Anne[/name] & the more formal [name]Sofia[/name]/[name]Sophia[/name] appeals to me.
For your middles I would drop [name]Felicity[/name] because of the-ee/-ee sound endings especially if you plan on stressing the end of [name]Sophie[/name]. I am pretty much equally in love with [name]Catherine[/name] & [name]Eleanor[/name].
I think it’s the most refreshing spin on Sophie and a very usable French name when looking for correct prn, edit: should say it’s more like “AHN so fee” but the French prn still comes natural because “fee” follows “anne” if that makes sense. I’ve had Aliénor, Eléonore and Eleanor Anne-Sophie on my lists for years but clearly I can’t pick which version I like best lol, anyways I noticed your Anne-Sophie Eleanor combo and it’s my favorite of the choices!
I just REALLY love the name [name]Sophie[/name] so I cant help but want [name]Sophie[/name] on its own. [name]Sophie[/name] [name]Catherine[/name] would include my favorite favorites nad i love it. [name]Anne[/name] is a fine name and [name]ANne[/name]-[name]Sophie[/name] is ok I just htink [name]SOphie[/name] on its own is wonderful
It looks good. [name]Anna[/name]-[name]Sophia[/name] is more of my taste though. For middle names: [name]Catherine[/name], [name]Madeleine[/name], [name]Beatrice[/name], [name]Caroline[/name].
