Anne with an N?

Hey guys!

I came across the name Annen and I think it’s pretty cool. I don’t particularly like [name_f]Anne[/name_f] or [name_f]Ana[/name_f] but Annen seems a little more embellished, but still concise. What do you think?

Annen [name_f]Ruth[/name_f]
[name_f]Judith[/name_f] Annen

I actually really like it! Annen [name_f]Ruth[/name_f] is sweet.

Annen is quite nice. I like the flow. Annen [name_f]Ruth[/name_f] is nice!

I don’t mind it, Annen [name_f]Ruth[/name_f] is vintage and sweet. [name_f]Judith[/name_f] Annen seems heavy and old fashioned to me though.

Annen [name_f]Ruth[/name_f] is a really nice combo! Annen is very sweet as a name, it’s great on its own but has really cute nicknames too ([name_f]Ann[/name_f], [name_f]Annie[/name_f], [name_f]Nina[/name_f])

I prefer the simple [name_f]Ann[/name_f], but I suppose Annen could work.

I like it! I think it balances vintage and modern quite well. Annen [name_f]Ruth[/name_f] sounds perfect!

Thank you! I love your girls’ names btw! Especially [name_f]Liesel[/name_f], [name_f]Sunday[/name_f], [name_f]Lenore[/name_f], [name_f]Gaia[/name_f], and [name_f]Florence[/name_f]!!

Annen feels a bit clunky to me, I prefer a lot of other [name_f]Ann[/name_f]- names like [name_f]Annabel[/name_f] or [name_f]Annalise[/name_f].

Annen feels incomplete…as in [name_f]Ann[/name_f] and what??? I don’t find it particularly fetching.

Ahh thank you! I adore uncommon names and tend to get a lot of mixed (verging on negative) feedback from friends and family so nice little comments like this are lovely!

Hmm… sounds a bit clunky to me, sorry. Almost like it’s unfinished?? I quite like the sweetness of [name_f]Annie[/name_f], but if you prefer something longer perhaps [name_f]Annelise[/name_f], [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f], [name_f]Annelle[/name_f], [name_f]Anneke[/name_f], [name_f]Anouk[/name_f], etc.
